I love Ethiopian food and had eaten at Harambe before my diagnosis. I had thought about trying it again and had done a bit of research on Ethiopian food and it looked like there is very little gluten in most of the dishes. I was walking by Harambe and saw that they have GF injera so I decided to try. I talked to the owner. He said with the GF injera, the lentil dish I was ordering was GF so it would be safe. He seemed to know about gluten so I gave it a shot. Bad call. I was very sick later that evening, all day yesterday, and feel very wobbly still today. Pretty sure it was gluten. It tasted great, but sadly I won’t be eating there again.
