I had the best burger and fries here. I got a little scared when my order came out because it looked like a normal burger. The bun was fluffy. This place has a whole gluten free menu, you just need to ask. It includes almost all of their burgers that they make slight modifications to. I didn’t feel excluded and it was wonderful. Best of all I didn’t get sick afterward. I will definitely be back before the end of my trip.

This restaurant has quite a few gluten free items! I ordered the bbq combo and highly suggest NOT ordering it as the pulled pork was the left over ribs I’m assuming which included all the fat, etc. the ribs were good enough but not worth the cost of the whole combo. We also ordered the brownie sundae which was a nice treat!

Some Hard Rock locations have a gluten-free menu but some do not. Please check the particular location you are interested in.
Had an amazing burger and fries. Our server immediately asked if we had any allergies and then assured me of their protocol - and that they had a separate fryer for the fries if I wanted them. She also recommended a gf brownie which wasn’t on the menu but it was amazing. Would recommend sharing as it came layered with plenty of ice cream and cream!

No separate GF fryer as of Jan 2024. We ate here 3 nights ago with our kids and were told there was a separate GF fryer for the fries. Returned 3 nights later only to find out that there is no longer a separate fryer for fries.

Edit: We ended up eating here 3 times!! Evrry time the staff were amazing and went to confirm with the kitchen items in our order. Always our back up when hunger and anxiety were getting high.
Initially when we ask, the gentleman at the door was not helpful, went upstairs for a soviner and a drink, and luckily asked again, and the waitress was Amazing. She said they had a separate GF menu and cooked things separate and with differnt tongs, she even said we could speak with the manager!
We ordered (coeliac and dairy free) and Rod came our with our food, and additional salad dressing I could have as well.! Great meal!
Only point was that there are no prices on the GF menu.... but hey, if they can feed us safely right!. but prices would be nice.

I was nervous about eating here after reading mixed reviews regarding dedicated fryer. Nonetheless, I went for dinner here. I asked the waiter, he said the fries were in seperate fryer. Then I asked the lady that brought the food out, and she went and checked with kitchen and said they were in a seperate fryer. I didn't get sick. Based on below reviews it sounds like they might not always have dedicated fryer so I would confirm if you go. Food was ok

They do not have a dedicated dryer and the server was reluctant to let me know that, saying the fries are gf. But with a few questions we determined that they use the same fryer for breaded items and fries. So I ordered salad with my burger on a gf bun. The sale came with croutons and the server did take it back and bring a new one. I survived but would not call this celiac safe and won’t return.

When I asked for the gluten free menu the waiter was more than happy to provide it. When they brought the food they made sure to give that first and were very careful with the prep. That night and day after no sickness to report. Great food and would definitely eat there again!

Had the southwest chicken bowl and gluten free fries. Both were delicious. It was great to have French fries. The salad was delicious as well. Lots of different greens (kale, spinach, romaine) and quinoa. It was very good. The fries were great too. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. She even double checked with the chef or manager (someone via walkie talkie) that the salad was naturally gluten free.

Ate here my first night in Honolulu. Ordered off the gluten free menu and asked server if fries are cooked in separate fryer. She assured me that the cooks take gluten allergies very seriously. Felt sick after dinner and all through the next day. Go at your own risk…I wouldn’t trust them again.

The staff was very serious about gluten contamination and asked if I was celiac. They stated it would take longer which I was great with. The food was so good and I didn’t get sick. The ambiance, decor and music was fantastic. I was reluctant going since it’s a chain and, well, we are in Hawaii, but I am so glad we did.

We were a little hesitant about coming here due to the mixed reviews, however, it turned out to be a great experience. When we asked about GF, the waiter instantly asked if it was for a severe allergy and did a great job explaining everything. He told us there is a prep area and separate fryer for the fries. It tasted great and no issues. We were very happy.

I ordered here twice. The first time I ate in the restaurant, and the second time I ordered takeout. One of the burgers were gluten free, and the other one was not because my brother wanted one. We opened the bag and one of the boxes said gluten free so I started eating that one, but I soon realized that the bun was different, and my brothers was the same as last time. I got glutened, and my entire vacation was ruined.

Everyone in these reviews said they have gluten free fries so I came. The waiter said they are not gluten free. I went up and asked if they were gluten free or not AGAIN because everyone on this app said they were. I said “are they in a separate fryer” and he said “not today”. Don’t bet on this place to have gluten free fries. Definitely CALL ahead to double check if they are using a segregated fryer that day. They need to stay consistent. I would recommend saying explicitly you have a allergy (obviously celiac isn’t an allergy but it’s just easier to say allergy!). Many of these reviews concern me because I’m sure the fryer was not always dedicated each day these people went since it was not the day I went. I was really upset about this since it’s so hard to find gluten free fries and all of the reviews confirmed there were gf fries here. Also, to make matters worse my burger was burnt. However, the gluten feee bun did not fall apart like they usually do which was probably the only good aspect of this meal. Waiter was really weird with me when I went up to him to confirm again they were not gluten free. He forgot my Mayo and charged my boyfriend for the entire tables bill even though we split the check. I would recommend going somewhere else!

I honestly never thought I would go to a chain/theme restaurant on my trip to Hawaii (or anywhere really!) because it's just not my preference, BUT finding gluten free food here has been challenging!
Based on reviews this felt like the safest place for a burger.
The burger was delicious and the bun was tasty. They didn't ask me if I wanted it grilled on a separate surface, but I had no reaction and it's been 5 days. I feel this is a safe option.

Visiting from Sydney with your son who has been diagnosed with coeliac it’s welcome this app is available to narrow down available choices in Waikiki. Hard Rock Cafe certainly took on on our needs & catered perfectly with wings, burger & fries all designated separate menu. Thanks to Jack our server & Ann restaurant management for checking through the even.

Really good for coeliac as they have separate fryer for chips and gf menu
Yes
The highlight of our visit (other than the dedicated fryer for fries) was when we ordered from the GF menu and the waitress asked if it was an intolerance or celiac. She explained that for celiac, they take extra precautions in the kitchen. The manager brought my son’s celiac meal separately and everyone was happy to answer our questions. The GF buns were some of the best I have had.

Gluten free menu with several offerings. Waiter was knowledgeable about celiac disease. I got the pulled pork sandwich on a GF bun. I also got GF French fries.

I used this app to find a restaurant that was Celiac-friendly in Waikiki and could accommodate a part for 14 people. Hard Rock Cafe was great! Even with the large amount of gluten-filled orders others purchased, I never once encountered cross-contamination.
The staff was very nice and knowledgeable, everyone loved the food (my gluten-free meal was delicious), and everyone was happy. I did not get glutened. The live music was excellent decorations were so cool as well, especially the gigantic wall of guitars.

The HR cafe is located outside before taking your train to the terminal, don’t make the same mistake I did and go through security to find out you don’t have any options past security! I had to exit the terminal and luckily had time to grab a burger before my flight!
Anyway -The waitress had the manager come over to give information about their options -which is their protocol. He said most of the menu can be tailored to my needs. The oil the fries are cooked in gets mixed with the oil where the fried shrimp are cooked at the end of the night. He says most people who have a gluten intolerance do just fine eating their fries. I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun which came sealed in a bag but warmed up. All toppings on the side so you have to build the burger. I chose mash potato for my side and I’m glad I did because I ended up not eating most of the bun. As we know, gluten free bread has a hard time staying together. Overall, Hard Rock Cafe was a good choice since there aren’t many GF friendly restaurants at TPA.

Our server Mark last night was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the fryer and the ingredients in their fires ( can't have). There is a seperate GF menu and you just mention Celiac to your wait person. Food was yummy and is greatly pretty consistent between Hard Rock Cafe's everywhere- which is great, as it's always our back up 'safe place' to eat when travelling.
