I explained carefully that I needed special care because of cross-contamination. The waiter seemed to understand that and be well aware of the differences in gluten-containing vs. gluten free dishes. However, he was a little dismissive and rushing around because I think they were understaffed that day. That made me feel a little uneasy, but then every time they brought out a dish (and we were 8 people) he would remind me “you can’t touch that because it has breadcrumbs on top”, or any other reference. So I was more confident they knew what they were doing. And I didn’t feel bad after eating. The food was very tasty !
