The staff spike good English. I'm both gf and pescetarian. I was able to eat the vegetable soup which was delicious. They offered for main either the roasted vegetable plate or a grilled fish. I opted for roasted vegetables. It was plenty of food and beautifully prepared. They served it with a side of olive oil and a side of kosher sea salt. Simple, but hit the spot. They were careful and did take the japanse dining card I had with me to the chef to read himself.
