Hawkers Asian Street Fare

I had a great experience here, our server, Alexander was amazing. Asked when we set down if we had any allergy’s, provided me with a menu of what was gluten free, and offered me a free gluten free dessert if i wrote this review! As a very paranoid celiac I felt super safe, and enjoyed some amazing asian street food.

Refused to show me a gluten free menu or tell me what was gf. Instead asked for my likes and came back with only one option for me to choose. Super strange ordering experience and food was just okay.

They only have one GF menu printed which was being used by another table, so my waiter walked me through the GF options. He didn’t give me the greatest confidence that he really knew what was GF on the menu so I stuck with some safer options and got the Shrimp Spring Rolls and the Tom Yum soup. Both delicious and no reaction!

Very few GF options. Food was okay, but not worth the trouble. Staff very kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I felt very confident ordering with them, however I did get sick after.

Pleasantly surprised to see a GF menu at an Asian specialty restaurant! Servers were awesome with my food. Had the wings with Chinese 5 spice. So good!

You have to ask for a GF menu but there is a decent selection. We were told some items are naturally GF (crispy tofu bites, Singapore Mei Fun, and some others) and they substitute rice noodles in other dishes (curry laksa). Server asked if it was a GF allergy or preference. Great experience!

They were so helpful and knowledgeable about which drinks were gluten free, luckily told me one of the sake was not gf. They gave me the cutest pamphlet Gluten friendly guide

They were so nice! Not a huge gluten free selection, but what they did have they made sure to make free of cross contamination. I thought they had cross contaminated my food, the manager in charge checked it out himself and assured me there had not been any, and comped my meal as well. Great place, and made me feel safe!
