GF chicken strips and fries lacked any seasoning. Tasted like a kids meal to me. Which was a bummer! I was really looking forward to this place. Maybe trying something else would’ve been better.

Fried chicken?! Yes please!! You have to call ahead and order about 20-30 minutes before pick up our you wait because gf takes longer. But there's fried chicken, fried catfish, fried okra, fries, cornbread, and more. So delicious! A must have!

Update - HATE this location. Main cashier is rude, place is run down, soda machine is still broken two years later... Can't blame this on COVID.

Tested my gluten free chicken in my Nima device bc I have a severe (anaphylactic) allergy - came back positive for gluten. Really sad about it but I did still eat the mashed potatoes bc I was starving and those were good & I didn’t react. Probably safe for those who can handle a little cross contamination, but definitely not safe for me.

I really feel badly giving a lower rating review (my coworkers who can have gluten raved about the food) but if you do have a severe allergy like I do, best to steer clear.

It has been years since I've had fried chicken. This did not disappoint. They have a dedicated kitchen space for preparing and cooking the gluten free items. Cornbread was delicious.

They have a dedicated kitchen area and fryers for GF. Delicious fried and cornbread. And my kid did not get sick! Will definitely be going back again.

The spicy chicken was amazing. Just like I remember before my celiac diagnosis. Corn bread was good as well. I am concerned that I may have had some contamination though. After eating there twice, my heart rate increased and felt really off. I also had some stomach pain the next day. It's so hard to know for sure that I was glutened, but I am suspicious since it happened twice. I am not aware of any other food sensitivities at this point. I may try the regular to see if it was just the spice.

I have eaten here many times & my celiac fiancé has never had an issue. The gluten free menu is delicious & has a lot of options. There is a designated kitchen space for gluten free. They can be busy, so it’s faster to call ahead for gluten free.

I've always eaten at this location and have found I do not get a reaction and I have celiacs disease. They make the best fried chicken hands down! Super juicy and yummy😄

GF items are stored and prepared to order in a separate area of the kitchen. Server was prepared for my questions and when the order came out, mine was labeled and bagged separate from my mom’s non-gf food.

Super fresh and delicious. The fried part does flake off as you eat, but that doesn’t detract from the flavor. Most of the sides are NOT gf, I believe our only side options are okra and rolls.

Because it is prepared fresh, I recommend calling ahead since it takes 20-25 mins to make. As of August 2020 they are doing takeout only due to covid.

I got the gf chicken and catfish. The food was good but afterwards I got a little demertitis herpetiformis after eating the food. Could have been some cross contamination.

It would be 5 stars but only has gluten free a few nights per week. Otherwise the BEST fried chicken I have had since finding out I had celiac. Wait the ONLY fried chicken I have had out. It’s so good. My partner said she liked it as much as the regular chicken.

gluten free menu abailable thurs/fri/ sat/sunday. wonderful gluten free fried chicken, livers, catfish. i havent had gf fried livers in 15y, amazing. they serve cornbread instead of their rolls with gf orders. most of the sides except the obvious are gf.

Haven’t had fried chicken in years because my celiacs. Went here as I pass by it all the time and today saw the reviews. Chicken is FANTASTIC! They have a dedicated kitchen, including fryer. They no longer have GF bread, but have substituted a wonderful GF cornbread. I will be back! Will update only if I get sick. But, so far so good.

The owner prepares that himself in a dedicated kitchen space and fryer. He has spent a long time perfecting the gluten free recipe. It was delicious! I recommend calling your order in ahead of time as it takes quite a while to prepare. Gluten-free only available Thursday through Sunday and only at the Everett location.

I haven’t had fried chicken in over a decade and this was INCREDIBLE!! It’s prepared in a separate GF facility, I’m not 100% if the fryer is dedicated, but I have Celiac and did not get sick.
