Not a lot of options—I had the açaí bowl for 17 dollars and it was pretty bad. The strawberries were not ripe and the blueberries were sour. The base was strangely bland. I had 2 acai bowls from Kai Coffee just down the street for 13 dollars and they were much better and with ripe fruit!
My family (all GF) had the eggs Benedict and omelette which they said were pretty good. However, my mom had the kale salad which she didn’t like, the kale wasn’t massaged or anything.
Ordered the breakfast plate with eggs, rice and salad and Portuguese sausage. Notified my server of gluten allergy and she came back to tell me that there was wheat in the brown rice so I got white rice instead. Very filling breakfast, and a great coffee breakfast cocktail!
We called ahead to see how they treat gluten-free celiac diets, and they ensured us that they can offer some salads with protein with no worries of cross contamination. Not much gf selection otherwise, but perfect for us. Passion fruit Ice cream was a bonus!
Server was knowledgeable about what was safe or not, and we had no reaction.
A great local farm-to table organic restaurant - all of their food was great.
Healthy and unique food. My Celiac daughter had the eggs Benedict over pork and thought it was great! They don’t have GF English muffins, but they gladly substituted with a side of rice. Other GF options included açaí bowls and a typical breakfast sampler (minus the toast).
I visited three times because they have a gluten free eggs Benedict. The main ingredient is a thick Hawaiian butter so no flour is necessary in their sauce. They were able to answer questions and guide my experience and were very understanding and pleasant about discussing options.
Heavenly is a very healthy eatery with amazing smoothies, kale salads with ginger dressings, poached eggs, and açai bowls of wonderful fruit. They have excellent eggs benny on GF toast if you request it and a great veggie breakfast. Staff is GF aware. I’ve eaten breakfast here daily while in Waikiki with no reactions.
Went there since it had great reviews on this app. Was disappointed with experience. The server did not understand gluten free and even after checking with the kitchen, gave me bad information. I risked getting the chicken pho (did not use any sauces) but still did not feel great after. Very few items available gluten free according to the server.
Had the omelette and it was incredible, first time NOT getting sick on the island so far. Delicious locally sourced food.
I’ve come here so many times with my father that this most recent time when we came in, the man who greeted us and seated us and the woman who took our order, both already knew what we were getting ahead of time (2x Açaí bowl, and a heck ton of scrambled eggs). We NIMA tested this place the first few times as well and it was always smiley :) so we just decided it wasn’t worth wasting any more capsules. They seem to have a great little community and it’s a really nice place to eat breakfast!
