I emailed beforehand and i also noted in my reservation that I need a gluten free meal. I was told they do seperate GF fryers and that I can enjoy a gluten free meal. I was told they take steps to prevent cross-contamination . Didn’t have reactions. Meal was delicious.
Unfourtnately I never had a chance to eat here due to them evading questions. Made reservation months in advance for a special occasion. Over the months leading up to the date, I called to inquire about their cross contamination process/knowledge multiple times with no answer, so I left voicemail with my info to call back. After two weeks, I emailed them directly, no response. Waited another week, contacted them through the website form, no reply. Last ditch effort, Facebook messenger which even showed me that they read my message almost immediately, with no reply. I cancelled the reservation. Theres something incredibly suspicious about a restaurant that cannot tell you about their kitchen prep process for GF, or what they can offer you GF. I cannot reccomend any celiac to go here, theres plenty of nicer restaurants in better parts of NJ willing to accomodate us.
We asked about menu items that we believed were GF based on the menu description. The staff made us aware why the item is not GF (ie. soy sauce)
They did not have GF soy sauce. They were able to make certain dishes GF by removing breadcrumbs/toppings. Adequate GF options.
So accommodating. Great environment. The waiters’ were so real and genuine. Thwy cared and were concerned about our allergens. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with the food. Food quality and quantity was impeccable.
