Says it's open 24/7, drove up around 9 pm or so, there was an open sign lit up and an open sign by the door and it definitely wasn't open. Really lame.

Delicious food and friendly people behind the counter. I don't know what that one review meant that said it was pre-made... that couldn't be more wrong. The salad I got was fresh and sooo tasty. I could see him making it from my table! When I was in the restaurant, people from the local farmers market came over with leftover veggies. Can't get much fresher than that.

I've eaten at Hello Chef many times and not once have I left feeling anything other than energized and satisfied. This is real food done carefully and done right. The owners are kind enough to show you behind the scenes and the kitchen is pristine. The food is always fresh and it pays to go off menu (ask about the macho man burger). I have referred people to them for lunch and for the meal plans which I also highly recommend. Hello Chef is the best restaurant to hit the shore. I wish they had locations in North Jersey.

I totally enjoyed this place great food, not just some burger without a bun. Everything was cooked just the way I like it, generous portions and very creative alternatives to satisfy your taste buds.

I am so confused by the recent poor reviews. I have been here several times and I have enjoyed everything. The owners put all of their time and effort into this business. I think that this is an excellent addition to the community! It is so nice having a place to eat that is gluten free. Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing!!! Every time that I travel down to this area I make it a point to stop in. ❤

Been to this establishment several times, everything has always been fresh and delicious. Talked to the owners and chef each time and they were very understanding to my allergies. The only negative thing I have to add is that I can only apply 5 stars on this review instead of 10.

My nephew is gluten free and while he was in town visiting from Syracuse, we decided to take a ride to the jersey shore. My sister is law is very particular about allergies since her son is easily irritated. After finding Hello Chef, we stopped in for a late breakfast before the beach. Was greeted right away upon entering this cozy, yet unique eatery. The decor was rustic and then we saw the menu. The morning bowl was so flavorful. Could taste all the coconut and mango sweetness in it. Not to sweet and not to savory with the quinoa. My nephew loved his pancakes, not to mention Chef Dan's sense of humor (He came out to joke with us for a bit). I found out his wife worked with him as well. They genuinely cared for all that they prepared and your enjoyment. I'm not down the shore often, but this is def a place to stop before or after the beach. Yumm-o

I've actually never experienced either of the complaints that were explained below. I've been a regular customer to this fresh, gluten free establishment since it opened seven months ago. I've only experienced positive things from the welcoming, hospitable owners. Not only that, but my meals are always super fresh and delicious. They use ingredients from their small praise garden in various sauces and dishes. Through the menu items, it's evident that both Dan and Erika have a strong passion for delivering healthy options to locals. Five stars across the board for Hello Chef and their welcoming atmosphere.

The food here is great. Really good selection for breakfast and lunch. The burgers are huge with really good sides. Erica and Dan always provide great service every time we come!

So I read the last two reviews and was totally surprised. I have been to this place multiple times and never ever had the experience that the last reviewer had. My food is always fresh and creative. The owner is very Involved in his restaurant and very knowledgable about his food and where it comes from. Their bone broth and potassium broth is great when I am feeling a little under the weather. Definitely highly recommend this place to anyone with gluten allergies and for those just wanting a healthy lunch. :)

Awful! And such a disappointment!! My daughter and I have celiac and after reading the reviews thought it would be worth the trip. The food was pre-made. The chicken was hard and dried out. The sweet potato fries were covered with charred burnt flakes. The only positive was the feeling of being in a safe eatery where everything was gluten free. If only it was eatable.

I was very excited to eat here based on all the great reviews. Unfortunately, my family and I were very disappointed. The food tasted pre made. Nothing was served fresh to order. The sweet potato fries were burnt with charred "seasoning". The grilled chicken was dry and hard around the edges. The floor was dirty and wet in spots from a leaking refrigerator. The potential for a restaurant like this is great, however it defeats the purpose with such poor food quality. I'm giving one star for the effort made for safe gluten free dining

The place was great! 6/5 for Saftey and allergies. Everything gluten free and dairy free! I had the MAC burger. It came on lettuce wrap instead of a bun, they don't have buns which was a little disappointing, but it was quality fresh lettuce. I felt surprisingly healthy afterwards even though it tasted like a Big Mac, very small portion of fries but they were excellent.

So glad we found this place! Delicious food, friendly owners, and as a bonus, the whole restaurant is GF so no risk of cross-contamination. The pear salad I had was perfect, and my husband loved both the chicken and beef tacos!
