Only gluten free option was a gluten free tortilla. They don’t have buns for burgers. I’m a vegetarian and it was almost impossible to find options. The steamed vegetables were absolutely disgusting looking and very bland. Looked like a 4 year old made it. Manager was very rude. I don’t recommend this place for people with celiacs or gluten sensitives.
Was very skeptical about this restaurant because of the reviews. However after a friend suggested we check it out (after all they’ve been in business since the ‘40s), I figured the locals couldn’t be wrong. So glad we did! No they don’t have a gf menu, but they do have gf tortillas and bread for sandwiches/burgers. Organic ingredients and wild caught seafood supplied by local growers. Very rustic and eclectic decor . Outside dining overlooking ocean and dog friendly.
The only GF option is to substitute a GF wrap for bun, which falls apart and makes sandwich very messy. No dedicated fryer or prep area. They do have a "mystery" GF beer, which was Omission this visit. They have had Redbridge in the past. Other than the great view, not much to brag about for GF.
Big sign saying gluten free menu items...but waitress was clueless...service was horroble. I do not recommend!!!!!!
This place was just ok. Location was awesome and the place is really cute! But the food was mediocre. As far as gluten free options go, it was just gluten free tortillas and wraps. No buns! They say the fries are gluten free but they were not that great. They didn't seem that knowledgable about gluten and cross contamination. I will not be returning.
Great food, service and view. Located directly on the ocean.
