I have celiac disease and eat here about 3 times a week (not joking). I write GLUTEN ALLERGY on my ticket. You can also remind them to change gloves. Sometimes it depends on who’s working — the women seem much more competent than the young men staffing the register.
Because of the set up (salad bar/chipotle style) there is going to be a risk of cross-contact. I’ve been fine, but I reserve the celiac-friendly label for establishments with separate prep/cooking areas.
Also, it’s delicious.
This place has plenty of gluten free options, and even a marked menu...but they have a number of mistakes on the menu (such as marking shrimp tempura as GF). While the food is good and there's a potential for a GF experience, that's not something I as a celiac feel comfortable recommending
