I was blown away by the attention to detail. The BEST vacation that I have been on since being diagnosed with celiac 4-1/2 years ago. They completely understood cross contamination, offered substitutions, the first gluten free bread that I have liked ever (they make themselves)... Everyone understood concept of cross-contamination. I packed my own food just in case and never touched it which is a first for me while traveling.
Everyone at every restaurant knows what it means when I tell them I have Celiac disease and must eat gluten free. They check on items they are not sure about and are 100% aware of cross contamination and what that means to someone with Celiac. I was terrified I would be in Mexico with none or incredibly limited food options but the staff here has made me feel safe to eat and not annoying.
