Hiro's Sushi

Ordered our sushi to go. Sat at the sushi bar and the nice guy behind the bar explained rolls to my daughter & I. He was very helpful & knowledgeable of gf & soyfree items. He also packaged my sushi separate. No reaction since eating. I'm a happy camper. The cashier, manager guy wasn't friendly at all but the 2 hostess/servers were very friendly. Only thing i didnt enjoy was the salmon sashimi. It's cut very thick and I like sashimi when it's thinner. The quality of fish seemed good. Their fresh Wasabi comes more as a paste gel. Not what I'm used to when requesting for fresh Wasabi.

Great food. Aside from gluten-free, I also have to eat grain free. I'm usually relegated to sashimi, but the special on Thursday happened to be Japanese-style ceviche. It was served on gluten-free corn chips, but I just left those on the plate, and it was a delicious change from my usual. The chef and staff were very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up from me!

This place has great food! Lots of flavors. The service is a toss up as we have been seated and forgotten about for more than 30 min. Other times its okay.
