The staff was great. Took great care to make sure that everything I was going to eat was prepped separately and safely. One of the items on the order contained gluten and they waited to bring it at the end after the safe food was on the table. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back next time I travel this way!

Excellent safe BBQ! The best brisket ever! All meats and sauce are gf. The sides were excellent (we had cheese green chili grits, potato salad and slaw). The nachos were excellent also (chips not fried on site but were gf). And dessert! We had gf banana pudding that was excellent. They took great precautions and I did not get sick. We will return when visiting the Nashville / Franklin area.

Delicious! The pulled pork was amazing and not fatty like it is at some places. We also had chicken & Turkey - both excellent. Loved the potato salad and slaw, and my husband (non GF) also loved the Mac & Cheese. Sauces are GF, menu board is clearly marked.

My girlfriend and I both have celiac and we loved Hogwood. We got the turkey, brisket, potato salad, slaw, pickles and banana pudding. We sampled all the sauces. Everything on the menu was clearly marked gluten free so it was easy to make our selections.

The food was delicious, although it’s certainly different than most traditional BBQ places. We’ll definitely be back for the potato salad and Nana’s pudding!

Wow! Easily the best loaded potato I’ve ever eaten. Great, just much better than average sides. Really nice lunch. Most of the menu is gf, including the banana pudding.

We went on a busy Saturday night and they apologized multiple times for how long the food was taking but it was only around 10 minutes we sat there before our food came out so I’m guessing they are usually very quick. The ribs and pulled pork along with potato salad all tasted great, especially with their sauces clearly labeled gluten free. They gave us a complimentary banana pudding for the wait and that was one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. I have celiac and did not feel any illness from eating here.

Very impressed. They have a separate area to prepare gluten free and immediately know what to do when you order. All GF items are clearly identified on the menu. The banana cream pie is even gluten-free as they use Schar products and it’s yummy!

There are at least two great things worth coming here for: the brisket and banana pudding!! Both were great! They were so easy to accommodate celiac and menu is clearly marked. I had the ribs(needed some salt) with baked beans which i liked and potato salad(it had an odd spice we couldnt put our finger on) we also tried the brisket(so good) with grits(also needed salt) and cucumber salad(very good). But the star of the show was the banana pudding. It was so good we bought two to go!

This place had the best dry rub ribs I've had in a very long time.O will definitely go back and try other menu options.The white Alabama sause was great as well as the other sauces.The ribs were very meaty and sooo good! The smokey flavor was just tight,not overpowering or dry,again some of the "best" in Tenn!!!

Loved this place! We were visiting the area and went here based on reviews on this app. They were knowledgeable and took extra care. I can’t have dairy, corn, or eggs either- and I had the pork bowl with rice, pork, and slaw. It was delicious! My husband and a sandwich of some kind and the mac and cheese (alll the gluten- ha) and he loved his meal. I will definitely be back when in town!

We were so excited to visit based on reviews here and they did not disappoint! Got a new cutting board and utensils, changed their gloves and let us read labels of the sauces. We were bummed they didn't have the banana pudding but the bbq was absolutely our favorite of any place in the area and we love bbq!! This is our new go to place!!
