I am obsessed with this bakery; No other bakery or baked goods have ever been as good as this one! So tasty, so many options, super friendly staff. 1000/10!!!
Such a cute place with awesome backed goodies I’ve never had GF
I love this lil bakery. It’s the perfect stop on the way to work, and I’ve not yet ordered an item I didn’t like. Many times I’ll try and get something I haven’t before, and each time, it’s yummy. Yesterday, I snagged a box for a Methodist ICU team appreciation breakfast, and I tried the Mixed Berry Sweetie Pie. Mmm! Very good, flaky pastry and not overly sweet. And the coffee cake I know I love. Thank you for putting out these delicious treats for us to enjoy!
November 2024: We try to get here about every other month. Everything has been good, including new (to us) breakfast biscuit sandwiches! They are now also carrying several types of bread from a different baker. And some things are available in the freezer to heat at home.
So pleased! The sausage had the right hint of spice and the crust for both the savory and mixed-berry sweet handpies was actually flaky! Excellent filling and frosting, too! Got a couple of other treats to take home and try later. And my husband says his hot chai is fabulous. Not many drink choices if one can’t have caffeine (like me).
My favorite gluten free bakery by FAR. I have no clue what sort of magic they havhave going on but they just don't miss. The cakes, the cookies, the handpies, all lovely. But the danishes are NEXT LEVEL. They have a flakey buttery crust that's crisp on the outside and soft on the inside in all the right ways. The staff are kind, the vibe amazing, and the prices fair. Cannot recommend high enough!!!
So thrilled to find this gluten free bakery! Tried the salted caramel apple sweetie pie, caramelized onion and gruyere quiche, and a lemon square. All were delicious and with a perfect combination of flavors, flaky crusts, and balanced ingredients! Great service and reasonable prices (especially for dedicated GF). Awesome all around!
What a magical place to be for a person with gluten issues! Everything we got was delicious and we ordered almost one of everything they had. We even went back the next day to try what was sold out! I wish I lived in Minneapolis! The owner said they’re figuring out how to ship though so maybe I won’t have to travel 7 hours to get a real gf pastry!Try the jalapeño popper pastry if you go, they are fantastic. The lemon Spencer cakes are a must as well.
Omg this place is amazing! One of the best GF bakeries I’ve been to. They have a hot case with savory items and a cold case with some sweet items. 3 different types of GF pop tarts! ALSO this is the only place I’ve ever been to that isn’t a chain that can make specialty drinks DECAF! And bonus of course all the drink syrups etc. are gluten free (unlike Starbucks for example). I can’t have caffeine so this is SO EXCITING! I got a pumpkin spiced latte over ice. There is also a small lounge area to eat and sit. The interior is soooo cute. I love it!
Everything this bakery makes is spectacular! They specialize in pastries like cupcakes, fruit and savory pies. They have a few cookies, bars and sweet breads. They also have some delicious breakfast sandwiches, pot pies and individual, deep-dish pizzas. The latter 2 are frozen and to bake at home. My favorite currently are their homemade-like pop tarts.
I was in awe!! This dedicated gluten free bakery was amazing. I felt like I was eating like I used to. The ham and cheese danish was my choice for breakfast. It had a somewhat flaky crust and a rich and creamy inside! It was my birthday, so I filled a box of goodness to take home. The chocolate Spencer cake was my next indulgence and it didn’t disappoint. Honestly, I don’t know if others would know that it is even gluten free. I also chose two fruit hand pies that I can wait to snack on in the next couple of days. They also carry the Heaven sourdoughs. I had a hard time deciding, but ended up with the cranberry pecan gf sourdough. I need to tell you that I have not had anything like this in a long time. So thick, fruity and nutty. I cannot wait to try the plain next time. I have to say, I have been looking for a new bakery for quite a while. Even though it’s a bit of a drive, I have found the winner!!
Best gluten free bakery I’ve ever been to. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Especially the Spencer cakes.m and hand pies.
We stopped here at this bakery to check it out. We did purchase a couple different items to sample and try. One of course did not even make it home. The staff was super friendly. Nice variety of items to choose from. I wish I would have tried the coffee too. We did see a small refrigerator that did have items in it yet we didn't see it till after we purchased the bakery items.
Absolutely amazing place, owners and people, who are working there! Island of tastefull life, love and joy! You can never be bored of eating the same, because of huge choice of sweet treats and savoury. Every weekend something special in menu and vegan options! Cozy, contemporary and stylish interior, where you can relax and enjoy your food! The best GF bakery in MN!❤
Just went here for the first time today and will definitely go back! I got one of the breakfast pastries and a chocolate cake - both of them were absolutely delicious. Very excited to get some tasty treats that are also totally safe to eat… no cross contamination worries either.
