Dine with an abundance of caution. The servers are familiar-adjacent with Celiac Disease. We were in a pinch and we had to make something work, and we figured that hamburger or steak would work. The server was very nice and admitted that she didn't know much about Celiac. I asked all the cross contact questions and she went to speak with the chef who verified they do have the appropriate procedures in place.
My girls had the steak sandwich without the cheese sauce and crispy onion strings on a gf bun and a house salad. It was ok, not great, but it filled out bellies, so mission accomplished. No symptoms or belly issues the next day, so we seem to be in the clear.
Shared fryers so no fries. Stuck with burger or steak no frills and be vigilant, but clear with questions and procedures. The manager came to the table to see if I had any more questions. She also delivered the gf food to the table.
I saw the reviews and thought it would be better than what it was. My son and I are celiac and he has the added dairy as well. The only item we could have was a burger no sides. The burger itself was good but I asked can you do a lettuce wrap? Our waiter stated yes. They did a lettuce wrap but did not wrap in wax paper or any paper to be able to hold it. My son and I felt we were not really welcome there as our waiter pretty much told us you are celiac so you know what you can eat and not eat. Yes, we do know what we can eat and not eat but we do not work for Holsteins so we have no idea what you buy or what you do in the kitchen. $100 for nothing amazing ( 2 burgers and 2 drinks) nor did we feel welcome to eat there. I would skip it.
had a fabulous dinner experience here !! serve Anthony was super sweet, knowledgeable, and careful, great communication from kitchen to table and vice versa. they have gf buns here that actually compare to the real thing! got to enjoy the delicious forager burger and the drunken monkey shake with just a few minor modifications!! kitchen cleaned any necessary prep areas prior to making my dish so that there was minimal chance for CC. felt very safe and comfortable here.
I had read reviews before coming here so I already knew what to expect. That was good because our server seemed to think I could have the fries until I asked if the fryer was shared. Then he remembered it was so the fries weren’t safe. I got a side salad instead. I didn’t have any problems later. I rated this as dairy free safe because I was able to get my burger without cheese.
Got tired of waiting in the Eggslut line after 20 minutes. Went here instead and very happy we did. About 10 different burgers to choose from and you can have them made GF with a nice GF bun. Chaz our server was great, knew everything about what was ok to eat, what not. Note: if you come here it’s just the burgers you can eat, and the blue cheese chicken buffalo dip. We weren’t disappointed. Come here instead of Eggslut if you aren’t an instagram hero. I get what reviewer Christian says below - they do have a “cannot guarantee gluten free disclaimer”. However, it’s America, and I believe this is a standard disclaimer for litigation purposes. Go for the burgers with GF buns- my coeliac wife is currently enjoying a champagne at the Bellagio 4 hours later, with no coeliac symptoms.
Very knowledgeable. Basically the only thing that you can have on the menu is a burger on a gluten-free bun. They upcharge for the salad even if you don't get the fries. The fryer is shared and the milkshake mixers also mix malts. Also the popcorn (they put it on your table to much on) seasoning has gluten. The burger was delicious.
The waiter was knowledgeable and talked to the chef about my order. However, when they brought out my salad it was next to the fries on a plate & the fries were over my salad so I asked for a new one. That staff member seemed annoyed, but took it back. Not actually sure a new salad was made since I had a very mild reaction.
We love this place definitely recommend! gluten free and chips
Good burger with GF bun. Subbed a salad for the fries. Server was knowledgeable about GF options and very helpful. Tasty milkshake as well!
Ordered a classic beef burger with a gluten free bun and a salad instead of fries. No reaction Burgers are big and tasty.
Great option for the kids bc they could have burgers with buns (rare to have GF buns as an option). We were disappointed though that the fries were cross contaminated. We did have an issue with my side salad - I didn't find the croutons until half way into it. I seem to be ok but am still worried about some of the crumbs (never know how my celiac will react). We spoke to the manager about fixing the kitchen problem. Milkshakes were fabulous!
4/5 on being gluten free accommodating; 5/5 for the awesomeness of food.
As others have stated, they don't have GF menu but they do have good GF buns. I sat at the bar, which always makes me nervous because I feel bartenders are more focused on drinks than food and may not understand Celiac. But when I asked for a GF beer, which they had, the bartender asked if I had an allergy. He suggested a burger with a side salad since the fries weren't safe. At this suggestion, I ordered The Gold Standard which was outstanding.
I had the chicken sandwich on a GF bun. Fries were not ok because of cross contamination. It was SO good! Great flavor! They also had a good selection of GF beer, ciders.
