I became violently ill after eating the “gluten-free” egg and cheese biscuit. They assured me they take precautions very seriously and my receipt was labelled as such, but almost an hour after eating here I was practically incapacitated from symptoms and barely made it home. Do not eat here if you want safe food.
AMAZING GF chicken and biscuits. Vegan gravy is GF and tastes better than regular. So yummy I did a little happy dance in my seat and we came back to eat here every morning of our trip. Honestly, best GF food I had in a week of eating across Seattle. Took biscuits and biscuit mix to make at home. Nearly a year later I ordered some delicious GF biscuits for our Thanksgiving feast. Owner showed me their GF protocol - and while not dedicated GF, they keep things very separate and super sensitive me did not react. I want to go back just for their breakfast biscuit with the vegan gravy and an egg on top!
Went here early on a drizzly Sunday morning. Like many places in the market, it’s an order and go kind of place and everything is served in takeout boxes. There are a lot of tables that you can use inside. My husband is celiac and got the GF biscuit fried chicken sandwich. Overall the sandwich was solid. The biscuit itself was a 7/10, and the fried chicken was a 6/10. He thought that the pickles were too overpowering for the sandwich, but were delicious on its own. Know that it isn’t exclusively GF but my husband is pretty sensitive and did okay. My daughter is allergic to dairy and we got the vegan biscuit and it was pretty good (made with oat milk). The whole place is dedicated nut free which is great for my daughter who is also allergic to nuts.
I was really disappointed with this place. Ordered two fried chicken sandwiches. The gluten free one was okay but the chicken was terrible. The gluten containing one was horrendous. The biscuit fell apart so it became a kind of sandwich casserole and the chicken was tough and inedible. Almost $40 for two sandwiches and a drink. I wish we had spent the extra $10 and just gone to Pub 70 for wings down the road.
Don’t go here if you’re vegan/allergic to dairy/ allergic to egg ASWELL AS allergic to gluten. They only have a vegan biscuit OR a gluten-free biscuit. I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to eat here, but I wanted to make sure others like me knew we can’t eat here, unless you want a fruit cup…
Had a wonderful experience! The biscuits were delicious. They asked if I’d like mine “allergy prepped”. Everything was delicious and a truly enjoyable meal!
Honestly their biscuit is best gluten free baked item I’ve ever had.
I got a simple egg and cheese and they asked if I was celiac to ensure extra careful handling. The experience felt 100% safe and I cannot stress how incredible their gf biscuit is. If I hadn’t seen in the case that what I was holding looked right I would have questioned if it really was gluten free. I can definitely confirm that it was!
I even took home some of their gluten free biscuit mix to hopefully capture the magic at home.
I will be stopping here every time I go to the market from now on.
Excellent experience! Best gf biscuit I’ve ever had! So soft and flakey! I had the bacon egg sandwich and it was amazing! Did not get sick and they took their time to prepare it carefully. Def recommend
The most delicious gf biscuit I’ve ever had! I did get a gluten reaction right away from my biscuits and lentil gravy and biscuit, egg, and bacon sandwich. That only happens to me from direct contact, so I’m not sure about their safety and would recommend not eating here if you’re really sensitive.
I had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, which was excellent. Tons of outdoor seating is available with a beautiful view of the water.
WOW! Amazing biscuits even from point of view of gluten eating relatives. I had a GF biscuit with butter and jam and a GF egg and cheese. Both were fantastic. Cashier told me all about their precautions when I ordered and my receipt had gluten allergy marked on it. When the food came out, the person confirmed again they are gluten free and they had gluten allergy written on the top. Will definitely be back.
Amazing gf biscuits!!! They take special care to prepare separately when you tell them you are celiac.
The biscuit and vegan gravy was ok, good flavor but not visually appealing. Went back a 2nd time to have a bacon and egg biscuit and thoroughly enjoyed every bite!
If in Seattle - go here!!!
My husband and son were so excited to enjoy biscuits on vacation. They were large & delicious. One had bacon & other had chicken sausage. We wished we had ordered all with bacon because chicken sausage was okay but bacon was better. Neither of them had an allergic reaction & wished we had time our last day to stop. I’m dairy free & enjoyed their vegan biscuit made with oat milk. There gf/df biscuits & gravy weren’t good & we wish we had just ordered another gf biscuit. The gravy was odd tasting & we only took 2 bites each before throwing it away.
Got a fried chicken biscuit sandwich! Biscuit was absolutely delicious, couldn’t believe it was gf, I wanted to go back for more! Sandwich as a whole was good but next time I think I’d just order several biscuits! Serving was big and service was quick. I told the cashier I had celiac and couldn’t do cross contamination. I asked what they recommended for me and they said the fried chicken biscuit sandwich. I also got the chai tea which they said was gf!
Thoroughly enjoyed eating a fried chicken biscuit sandwich like everyone else in my party! It was tasty, the biscuit didn’t feel like some weird powdered sawdust in my mouth, and the chicken was juicy! Plus, they had WOW cookies (I love those big, soft, chocolate chip ones). GREAT place!
Recorded order as an allergy to ensure extra safety practices put into place. I ordered the gf chicken and biscuit sandwich. It was tasty but make sure you know you are getting a chicken thigh and not a breast. The biscuit was delish and tasted a bit like it was made with potato flour (just my guess). I also got a chai latte and they assured me their chai was GF.
The biscuit was awesome. I am not celiac but have gluten allergy and struggle to find good biscuits and typically make them at home. This probably this best biscuit I have found. I also had the gluten-free fried chicken on the biscuit which was very tasty. Definitely will go back when I am in town.
