Biscuits are amazing. Grits and cheese fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dedicated gluten free fryer. Say they will do flavored GF biscuits to order if you call ahead a few days. The gravy for biscuits and gravy is NOT GF, but is very good.

Visited during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The place wasn't crowded and we were able to get a table inside as it was chilly to sit outside. The GF biscuits were TO DIE FOR! So soft and just yummy! We ordered Mexican Breakfast Sandwich, Fried Chicken biscuit, Biscuit And Southern Gravyand the Vegetarian sandwich. All were delicious! Will come back again.

Wow. These are life changing. I loved biscuits pre celiac diagnosis and I could cry these were so good. They were really kind and attentive when I told them it was a gluten allergy. They bake it in a separate oven and change gloves and use different foil. And the biscuits… wow. Flaky and crispy outside. Fluffy buttery inside. We got them for breakfast and then again for lunch. They were that good!

Are you serious these are GF! Best biscuit I’ve ever had! Unless you are vegan I’d avoid the lentil gravy. Just my thoughts, not very breakfast like. Years later back again! Love these and can’t say enough about the quality! Can order from gold belly for delivery nationwide too!

Had an amazing breakfast sandwich with a gluten free biscuit here! One of the best biscuits I’ve had since becoming gluten free. Offered to heat my sandwich in a separate stove which was great

Yummy biscuit, some risks in process.
Separate knife, tongs, foil line for gf tray in oven.
Change gloves but pull cheese and other ingredients with gloves for prior order so some risks. Just got butter and jelly to reduce chances.
Biscuits were delicious, nice views.

Their gf biscuit is hands down the BEST gluten free product I have had in my 11 years as a celiac. It is a good size and literary melts in your mouth. I would move to Seattle to eat these biscuits regularly

I haven’t had a biscuit in over 8 years since my diagnosis and this GF biscuit was delicious!! Not dry and large in size. You can get a variety of items on your biscuit so I got a SEC. They said they take allergies very seriously, so even though it is a shared kitchen, I felt safe and I didn’t get sick at all. Highly recommend for a quick bite.

I had the fried chicken sandwich and the owner kept coming out bringing other samples of the foods I can eat there (grits + jam). This was one of my favorite meals on our trip so far and I will be coming back! Also, the ship via goldbelly and I plan on ordering some! Highly recommend

Been here a number of times. Everyone's description matches my experience. They are not dedicated, but they are aware, and take precautions but it's still a risk. If you're extremely sensitive, you might want to skip.
That said, biscuits and gravy are always tasty, and I've yet to have a (identifiable) reaction. I've probably gone there a dozen times over the past year or two.

Delicious GF fried chicken and biscuit. I DO have Celiac and can have a strong sensitivity to gluten exposure and can report after 3 hours of enjoying this meal I have had no reaction. As noted in other reviews, I would like to note that the store the Gf biscuits below other biscuits but when I mentioned this, the team member kindly provided me a fresh biscuit. Cross contamination could be an issue here as a heads up!!

The chef was so kind and knowledgeable about gluten. A true southern chef and owner. GF items are baked early in the morning before other items and carefully handled. We enjoyed the crab melt and fried chicken so much the first day that we came back a second day for breakfast. Amazing quality and so many GF options. Pimento cheese and grits for sides- delicious!

Do not eat here if you're celiac. The gf biscuits are on the top rack and close to the gluten containing items. There is airborne flour. I took a risk despite the obvious and have been sick all day because of it.

I was super nervous eating here. They make the regular biscuits RIGHT NEXT to the prep area, including adding and mixing wheat flour. I would just assume a high chance of some cross contamination.
However, my Celiac son (highly sensitive) had the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. He did not get sick and said it was good enough to eat again.
I’m Celiac’s as well and had the ham sandwich. The biscuit was delicious. The ham was okay.
My two other children had the fried chicken biscuit sandwich. They both agreed the biscuit was good, but the chicken was greasy.
Overall, I’m not sure I would eat here again. It was fairly expensive, and the food was good, but not excellent. The risk of cross contamination is too great for me.

Amazing, had the gluten free biscuit with fried chicken and fresh pickles. Super tasty and great location.
Yes
This is the first time I’ve ever had a gluten free biscuit and it was amazing! What they don’t advertise is that all the toppings are gluten free, including the fried chicken! They took a lot of precautions to make sure it was gluten free and I had no issues.
Yes
I took a chance here based on other reviews. Explained in detail about how careful they need to be not to cross contaminate. I had a bad feeling watching them prep the food with so much flour everywhere. They assured me it would be fine because they make all the GF foods each morning before all the gluten foods, they have a separate toaster, tongs, etc. My food was delicious but it definitely was cross contaminated and I got very sick - definitely glutened. Unfortunately this was on my anniversary trip with my husband and we had to go home early because I felt so terrible. If you have Celiac, do not go here.
No
I wonder if the GF safety here depends on who is working that day. I recommend asking the person who takes your order to verify how much they care/know about celiac.
The server told me today that they make the GF biscuits as the first batch every morning to limit cross contamination. He says they change their gloves and have a separate knife and pans for the GF orders.
Yes
Based on previous reviews, I was excited to try Honest Biscuits. However, I was sadly disappointed. First off, the gluten free biscuits were in the same display case, not separated from all the other gluten full biscuits, and actually on a lower shelf, so crumbs from above can contaminate the gf biscuits below. Secondly, when the gf biscuits were taken from the display case, they touched and made contact with the other biscuits. I watched them prepare a gf order in the very small prep area, with only one small toaster/pizza oven for heating up all orders. They never changed gloves, and when I asked about their gf food, they didn’t really seem to care. The whole thing was scary to me, so I didn’t order anything, and would highly recommend that fellow celiacs don’t either. Very unsafe.
No
Moist, fluffy, heavenly clouds of yummy biscuit goodness. I can't say enough how things about this place! I usually get a sandwich and an extra biscuit for later. I've never had a reaction to any of the good and I'm very sensitive to cross contamination
My celiac daughter ate here twice while we were in Seattle without any problems. She loved the gluten free biscuit sandwiches! Their none gluten free food is delicious too!
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable about gf options and cc. If requested, they’ll wrap both the top and bottom of the biscuit in foil as it passes through the conveyor and change gloves to avoid cc. Got the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and it was AMAZING! No issues afterwards and if it wasn’t my last day here, I’d have gone again! The location definitely has moved up to the new waterfront area on the northwest side of pikes place (essentially, behind the artist/homemade goods area, and down the stairs)
Yes
Had a delicious gf biscuit with AMAZING jam! Would have loved to have it warmed up but it wouldn’t have been separate from the regular biscuits. I have celiac and didn’t have any issues.
Best GF biscuit I’ve ever tasted! I’m celiac and didn’t get sick, but the kitchen is very small and cross contamination is highly likely.
On my second visit to Seattle from the reviews I I knew I needed to find this place. It was right down on water by Pikes Place Market. I had a breakfast sandwich on the gf biscuit. It was WONDERFUL!! I got two biscuits to go with jelly for the next two days!!
Yes
Best GF Biscuits anywhere and they ship across the country
Yes
This biscuit is a religious experience. Seriously. The address on the app is wrong, though. They are in the same space as Old Stove Brewery. So far, this is the best part of Seattle!
Very, very good, and they take precautions like changing gloves and toasting the biscuit on foil. I've never had an issue eating here.
Yes
The GF bacon egg and cheese is on point. Best GF biscuit I’ve had to date! Super tasty and decent portion.
Yes
The best gluten free biscuit I have ever had. My non gluten free girlfriend liked it better than the gluten filled biscuits. Definitely will be back to try the crab biscuit sandwich since they were out of crab when I went.
So good! Make sure you go earlier in the day. When they run out of gf they are gone. I felt like the lentil gravy was too much gravy that I couldn’t taste the biscuit so I would ask for half.
Yes
Holy mother of god are these good!!
I watched the fella closely as he made it and all precautions were made as to not have any cc.
Foil on bottom of toaster... separate knives etc. etc.
Had the GF biscuit with butter and jam. Delicious!
Different location!!! They moved! Go the art area of Pike Place market, outside to “extension market” behind original market and down to first floor. It faces the water on bottom floor and it is worth the effort as they have excellent cross contamination avoidance procedures for their warm, buttery, delicious GF biscuits!!!
Yes
So yummy!! If your craving a delicious biscuit this is the place. My boyfriend has Celiac and he never gotten sick.
They bake the GF biscuits in the morning, before the gluten biscuits in separate pans. But my daughter got sick regardless. If you’re not super sensitive to cross contamination it may be ok.
No
Very disappointed, no gluten free biscuits. Make a small number in the morning, sold out.
