Tried this one on Uber eats. Maybe it’s just the food delivery but the burger was very mid. I think it needed more sauce or cheese, something to add more flavour to it.
However, it was a good affordable price.
The chips and onion rings are also gluten free. I didn’t get the onion rings but the chips were pretty delicious!
It was a popular place near the football stadium, to get a GF burger or starter.
They make the all burgers the same as standard non-gf options, except they use the Schär GF burger buns for any GF orders.
The staff seemed friendly, I had an issue with my own standard burger (not GF) which could of been handled better by the kitchen/service if I'm being honest here, I was given the wrong order by mistake, and when the waiter returned it back to the kitchen, they just scrapped off some of the wrong ingredients on my burger and sent the same burger back to me on a different bun with some of the added ingredients, which isn't great if I'm being 100% honest. As it was there mistake, so mine wasn't great.
I would have my concerns regarding cross-contact, based on my own Non-GF order only.
But for my daughter who is GF, her food was nice, her order was correct, and she was happy, so that was the main thing.
The staff was very helpful - asked about alergies or intolerances, not only gluten, but also others.
The kitchen doesn’t have separate fryers or counters for food preparation so there might be a but of contamination. But I didn’t feel sick at all.
Burger with GF bun was sooo freaking dwlicious, rosemary fries and glutenfree beer ❤
I will definitely come back!
I think that this restaurant is really honest ! A great place for anyone with coeliac disease. we've eaten a lot of good food, that was off the chains 😆 !
I've never had a bad experience at an Honest Burger chain, and my recent visit to the Windsor location was no exception. This time, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a few new options. Both my partner and I are gluten-free—he's gluten intolerant, while I’m coeliac—so we always appreciate places that cater to our needs with care.
My partner went for the buttermilk chicken burger, and I decided to try the vegetarian fritter. Although I’m not a vegetarian, I wasn't in the mood for meat, and the fritter turned out to be the perfect choice—crispy, satisfying, and packed with flavor. It's always refreshing to find a vegetarian option that doesn’t skimp on taste.
We washed down our meals with gluten-free beer, a thoughtful touch that makes dining out feel special. To complete the feast, we ordered the "rings and wings" special to share.
This was my partner's first time trying Honest Burger’s gluten-free bun, and he gave it a solid thumbs-up. It’s not easy to find a gluten-free bun that holds up well, but Honest Burger nailed it—soft yet sturdy, without compromising on taste.
Honest Burger continues to deliver on quality and inclusivity, making it a reliable go-to for those of us in the gluten-free community. Windsor's branch did not disappoint, and I'll definitely be back whenever I get a burger craving!
Chain of burger restaurants that all cater for GF food. Basically almost everything on the menu is GF except for the buns, which can be swapped for GF buns (for only 30p).
When you order they can easily mark it as GF, it is not a remark they have to write but is is one of the standard options.
The burgers are made of great meat, all GF so lots of options. But also onion rings can be ordered GF.
The atmosphere is busy but nice, service is friendly and quick. And since the staff know what they are doing it feels safe and relaxed. So if you get hungry in London for GF food, just find an Hones Burger, there are plenty throughout the city!
I’m American and thought this was a delicious GF burger! Pics of menu attached below. All apps are GF and waitstaff were very knowledgeable. GF bun seemed like it was a Schär brand and was an extra 30p charge. Such a treat to have GF onion rings! A very pleasant experience. Would absolutely come back.
