I ordered the Cornish hen and it was excellent. It is listed as gluten free and it must be true since I had no side effects the next day. The veggies were also very good.

I USED to really love this place. They USED to make you a burger with a GF corn bread ho cake. It WAS ridiculous good. No more, the went backwards, not forward. Now they add wheat to the corn bread mix. So you have to order off the regular menu and look for "wheat free" items. The wife and I both made our choices and our choices sucked. That was the worst shrimp and grits I've ever ate. It was more sauce and greens than grits and shrimp. Allegedly an award winning chef running the place. Chef Ronald McDonald puts out better tasting dishes than what we had tonight.

Honeywood was amazing when they first opened, but they went downhill fast. Definitely not my first choice to eat in the area.

Waitress had no idea how the food was cooked. Said she would find out but never did. I felt scared to eat. She didn't know if they had a dedicated fryer. I probably won't try eating here again. No dedicated gf menu or options.
