Gorgeous restaurant- right on the water. Staff is pretty knowledgeable but there aren't a lot of GF options if you don't want fish or pizza. I opted for a hamburger with a GF "bun"- turned out to just be their pizza crust cut into two pieces to sandwich the burger. It wasn't bad but definitely not what I was expecting and I was a bit disappointed. It's an expensive place and the service can be really slow depending on the waiter/waitress. I'm not celiac so I didn't ask about cross contamination.

Delicious food! Separate GF menu. Boyfriend and I shared two plates, the seared Avalon and an Italian sausage pizza. Great combo! Glad we found this place

I ordered the gluten free version of the ahi bruschetta, a gluten free pizza, and the butterscotch pot de crème. It was all great and the server seemed knowledgeable about what I could order, however about an hour later I became sick and am confident it was from being glutened here.

The server and other staff were very nice but service was extremely slow. Our meal for 4 people took a little over two hours.

Waitress was very knowledgeable of GF options and warned of things that may contain gluten (chickpeas fried in same oil as other things). Butterscotch crème de Lu he is gf and highly recommended!

I don’t understand what anyone is saying about this place. We sat down and I told the waitress I had Celiac. She declared that I COULD NOT have the GF pizza. It is made in such a way it is cross contamination. She did not offer us any GF app (my husband was offered the fried chickpeas) and she told me what I could have… about 3 oyster appetizers and 3 expensive fish dishes that we unappealing and very expensive. I’ve never left a restaurant after being seated. We left this one. Do not attempt.

This restaurant was very expensive and the food wasn't all that great. It is on the ocean so you have a nice view and the wait staff were nice. My gluten free personal size pizza was 35$ and I felt it wasn't all that tasty and was kind of burnt. The fish plates were also pretty spendy - ranging from 30-50$ and they were pretty average tasting.

They’re pizza crust is Gf but it is baked on the same bricks as gluten crust. Th oysters are Gf but not much else. Fish is fried in the same fryer as gluten.

The waitstaff is very knowledgeable about Celiac disease and cross contamination concerns. When I advised my server about my condition, she immediately told me the snack she placed on the table (fried chickpeas, I think) were cross contaminated. She went through the menu with me and advised me of my GF options and what dished could be made GF

Honu is a delicious restaurant definitely worth going to. It has a beautiful ocean view, and it is right on the beach. I had pizza and ahi meatballs, and they were so good. I recommend the ahi meatballs, a unique and rare celiac dish.

Great gluten free menu with tons of options. My husband has celiac and they were very knowledgeable. Even offered To bring out half normal and half gluten free appetizers on separate plates so we could share. Everything delicious

Great gluten free menu. Our waitress, Kala, was fabulous, very knowledgeable. I had the catch of the day, it was cooked perfectly. Driven by this restaurant many times, never stopped until now. We definitely will be back. Beautiful view!

Had a fabulous experience here. As soon as I ordered a GF beer, our server sprang to action telling me all about the menu and what was safe, including talking about the fryer and the fact that they could sub GF flatbread with some dishes to make them work. Seafood appetizers were great and the GF pizza was some of the best I’ve had. Highly recommended.

Staff was very accommodating and knew exactly how to handle our gluten intolerance. Went here twice on our vacation. Got the cesar salad with pepitas and the mushroom pizza w the gf crust. WARNING: the fried chickpeas they give out free as an appetizer are not GF, fried in contaminated oil. Other than that, Amazing!

Fantastic place. Great food. Separate GF oven entirely for their pizzas. Server very understanding, accommodating, and aware. Will return for sure. Had pizza and kale salad and enjoyed it. Do watch the GF beers though; only one of three are safe for celiacs.

Was so excited to eat here after reading all the the great reviews on FMGF.com! Ordered the Ahi Bruschetta and it failed the Nima test on the first try. The manager and some scruffy looking guy (owner?) were rude and told us if we needed a gluten free meal we should just leave. What a way to commemorate the last night of our honeymoon. I walked out crying. :(

We had a server by the name of Kani. She was excellent and was very knowledgeable on everything on and off the menu. They have a separate GF menu and informed us on the separate cooking for the GF pizza and the separate utensils that would be used while cooking the pizza ensuring us that there would be no cross contamination being that my boyfriend has celiac and we are always conscious of these things. Highly would recommend. Largest gluten free menu I have yet to see.

We went here tonight and had the best and most knowledgeable waitress named Monica! She knew all about celiac disease and she even told me about more safe restaurants in the area that I can try during our stay here! She made our first night of our Honeymoon wonderful! The margarita pizza was absolutely delicious and so was my veggie burger on gf flatbread! They have a large dedicated gf menu and 4 dessert options! I highly recommend this place and Monica as your waitress!

A bit on the pricy side but a beautiful restaurant. My husband got the pizza and I had the burger. The flatbread they use for the pizza and burger bun was very good!

Absolutely amazing food. This is by far the best place we ate at in our 9 day trip eating at GF places. My non-celiac husband and I shared the ahi sausage pizza and fresh fish of the day both prepared gluten free. We both thought the food was to die for. A definite must visit place!! 👍🏻

We ate at the bar and the two bartenders were very knowledgeable about Gluten both in the food and in the drink I ordered. She tweeted one of the martinis I wanted to be sure it was gluten free. Super busy place. Definitely recommend reservations if you want to sit by the ocean.

I ordered the white shrimp pizza without cheese because I also have a dairy allergy. For a $27 pizza I would expect the shrimp to be abundance. I did not get, in my opinion, what that equated to. The pizza dough was chewy, the cilantro pesto lacked seasoning and I was given 2 pieces of shrimp cut into small cubes and divided between 8 pieces of pizza. I can go to a food truck and get a dozen shrimp for $14. Not worth my money.

Amazing food and service. So many options on the GF menu, it was hard to choose! There were several turtles swimming beside us as we ate so the atmosphere was amazing too! Don't miss this one!
