I was served a regular gluten bun and told it was a GF bun at lunch today and now I’m very sick as I have celiac and cannot tolerate trace amounts of gluten let alone a full bun. Their safety protocols are not good for celiacs or people that need to eat gluten free. I ate here today due to a good experience at the one in Dallas but will not be back at this place in Tustin.
I had done my homework and reviewed the 24-page nutrition and allergen guide on the restaurant's website. When I showed up at the restaurant, I asked the cashier for advice on gluten-free options. She was extremely well versed in the menu and knew off-hand all of the information that I had found on the website. We created a perfect meal, and I felt great afterwards.

This is a favorite stop for my daughter. She loves the gf bun. It’s soft compared to most gf buns. Fries are outstanding too. Have been here too many times to count and no issues ever. Will continue to come back!
I went here several times and no issue with gf buns. Last week I went got takeout and noticed the bun did not look like the gf bun which I ordered and looked like the regular bun so I called them. However, they assured me it was the gf bun and they had just changed them. So I went ahead and ate it. The next day I was so so sick and felt horrible. Didn’t think they would lie to me so didn’t consider I ate a regular gluten bun. I returned a few days later and ordered the gf bun and much to my surprise it was the same gf bun I had gotten every time before. That’s when I realized they lied to me to get me off the phone and the reason I was so sick the next day. So disappointed because I really liked this place but will never go there again. Do not trust this place!!!!
Delicious food, safe fries...I opted for no bun. Although I hear the GF one is delish. Have never gotten sick here.
“Snooze” had a 2 hour wait so we decided to try Hopdoddy which is located next door. It was extremely loud and I got cross contaminated from something. The gluten free bun on the hamburger was similar to cornbread and fell apart. They said that the fries are all gluten free and the only thing cooked in the fryer. I give them two stars because the servers and bartender were really nice and customer service oriented.
The best gluten free burger I’ve ever had! Fresh buns that made me feel like I was part of the normal dining world. They made my meal feel special and not like an after thought.

Ordered the chicken sandwich. Chicken is fried but the gf bread was good. I did not eat the chicken and got sweet potato fries. Got sick from CC. Be cautious
My daughter has celiac and she enjoyed a cheeseburger & parm a truffle fries without any complications. They have a dedicated fryer
(DoorDash delivery). This is one of the better HopDoddy’s. GF Burger, GF chicken sandwich, and GF fries were good. Reliable GF when traveling.
Their gluten free bun is really good and the bison was cooked really well! They forgot my fries though, which made me sad.
I'm celiac and safely eat here. The gluten free buns and hot honey sage fries are yummy, but do not eat the bacon due to marinade.
