They have a online allergen menu, pick gluten free, and you get a list of all the items you can have from the menu and the salad bar
Gluten free friendly. Not Celiac Friendly, but delicious. I ate a filet mignon, sautéed onions and mushrooms (didn’t eat broth of sour cream), baked potato with butter, jello, spinach salad with carrots mushrooms olive oil blue cheese dressing, garbanzo beans, and cranberries. I give this place an A, and the service was amazing too. Thanks to Server Saige for an amazing experience.
My new favorite place to eat out and get an amazing GF meal. I used to hate Hoss's and figured there was no way they would have GF items until I had to come for a wedding rehearsal dinner. They have GF gravy!!! I get the pot roast with mashed potatoes, gravy, and zucchini squash (be sure to tell them no onion straws). It is amazing and very satisfying. check out their Web site on the nutritional information page for the Allergen List as well as ingredients.
Hoss's no longer has a gluten free menue, and they will not guarantee their food GF. It may have cross contamination. I am very sensation to gluten and have eaten the stake and potato several times with no issues. Their food is delicious!! The steak is fantastically seasoned.
This place was not a good choice for us. It is like a Ponderosa where you place your order when you enter. I asked for and was given a gluten-free menu. However, many items on the menu such as the soups, were not available that night and we didn't find this out until after we had ordered our meals and were seated. My celiac daughter was really looking forward to soup and they had no gluten-free soups the evening we were there. All seven of us ordered different kinds of steak and out of 7 only 1 was cooked as ordered. We will stick with Outback for steak in the future. Oh yes, if you decide you want anything else, you have to get back in line at the front of the restaurant and place another order.
