The staff made sure I had the list of gluten free food. They were very careful in preparing my meal. It was very good!
Staff was very knowledgeable, they had a gluten-free menu worksheet right at the assembly station that the server pulled down and kept beside him while he assembled the taco bowl we ordered so he could reference it item-by-item. Staff cleaned thoroughly and changed gloves before assembling.
They have a gluten free menu right at the beginning of the ordering area which is great. The workers seemed clueless. I asked the girl to change gloves, which she did as she rolled her eyes. Then she passed our bowl off to the next person without me realizing it and the second person had NOT changed her gloves. I explained the problem and the first girl grabbed stuff and remade our order without any words- obviously irritated. It is a shame that a place that offers so many choices does not have better understanding of the gluten free necessity for some people.
like Chipotle but not so good. more choices of sauce, but there isn't any sign the food is of any particular quality. a little stingier on the guacomole. still, we liked this better than the Eat and Go across the street that didn't have enough choices for us.
Talked with a manager who was very friendly however he was not knowledgeable about gluten free and was not very convincing about cross contamination. The more questions I asked the more he admitted that there is a chance for spatulas and spoons to touch wheat tortillas and then going back into the dish. Very disappointing but expected from a chain like that. Would not recommend celiacs to dine there!
