Amazing Hotel for celiacs. There is no limitation of any sort. All food options are GF or can be made GF. GF food is prepared in a separate kitchen space with separate equipment. GF food is served on marked plates or is provided on a completely separate GF buffet for e.g. breakfast, salad, desert. Staff paying attention that non-GF guests do not use the GF buffet. Overall, the food quality is good. Absolutely amazing was the desert buffet, which they prepared for one dinner - huge choice of fantastic home-made creations. In the afternoon, they offer GF snacks at the bar like toasts or pizza. The have 4-5 different GF beers. And, you can also get lunch boxes for your excursions.
It’s a great restaurant. Everything that is listed on the menu you can also order gluten free. They have two separate kitchens and on is only for gluten free food. The food is great I have never had problems. The stuff is really knowledgeable about gluten. I really recommend this place because it’s high level.
Love this place. If you have any allergies and specific needs, you will be well taken care of here. They are very very careful about cross contamination, food is excellent, service is so attentive and excellent my boyfriend gave them a huge tip after the first few meals. Only positive things to say.
This is from 2019 not sure why it didn’t post. Hotel with a dedicated kitchen to serve celiac guests gluten free versions of the full menu. The hotel is AIC certified. Breakfast and a five course dinner are included in the lodging. The dining staff takes great care to keep celiac guests safe. The first night they asked our child with celiac to sit at the same place on the table to make sure GF food served at right spot, they had individual roll and parmigiano cheese at her place each night. At dinner there is a GF salad and bread bar, they ask that only GF diners go to the bar to protect against CC, same at breakfast. There are a variety of homemade GF breads at dinner and breakfast including pretzels and apple strudel. They were flexible at dinner giving kids the option of choosing courses from the adult or kids menu. It was nice for kids to be able to mix and match. At dinner you can order a GF lunch to go. Lots of options for the lunch: lasagne, cannelloni, rice salad, sandwiches, etc.
I am the only one with celiac in the group I am traveling with and we came here for a meal. We made reservations ahead of time, and it was delicious! Everything on the menu can be made in the dedicated gf kitchen, and let me tell you - it was delicious. Be aware that this place is definitely on the fancier side, so food is served by the course. There are 5 courses total. I had pumpkin ravioli, fried veal, and 2 desserts (pistachio white chocolate soufflé and apple strudel). If I have the ability, I would love to stay at this hotel in the future!!!
Separate glutenfree breakfast bar. Also, the hotel is very clean.
Wow. We drove over from Val Gardena—pretty drive and not very far—and wow. Offer gf menu with all five courses. Make bread and desserts in house. I rolled out of there fat and happy. Rare experience of not sacrificing. They have a separate gf kitchen and offer the same menu not gf if you like, but we both ordered gf and shared (also rare to be able to do that). Really good food. Completely safe for celiac and no sacrificing for the non (whether they eat gf or not). Nice ambiance and pretty restaurant. If I’d known about it I’d have stayed there.
