The food on the regular menu is marked clearly with "GS" for Gluten Sensitive. they are clear about not having a dedicated kitchen space or area so if you have a true allergy this place may not be for you, but I am gluten intolerant and was very happy!

Waitstaff not at all knowledgable. Asked if the foods on gf menu were cooked in a dedicated fryer and they are not. Waiter said if it's on the gf menu it "should be good". Do not seem educated on what gluten is nor cross contamination.
I had absolutely the worst experience at Houlihan's. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone with Celiac disease. I ordered soup but it came with tortilla chips. I asked them if they made the chips and if so if they had a dedicated fryer. They said they didn't so I got it without the chips. After taking a bite of the soup the waitress came and took it. She said the cheese they put it in was packed in flour. WHAT? They had a number of things on their "Gluten free" menu that were not gluten free. When I questioned the manager he was very arrogant. He said it was really a "Gluten light" menu not a "Gluten free" menu. Funny, it said "Gluten free" on it. I told him there shouldn't be things on the menu that weren't gluten free, he said "Well, I've never had anyone complain that they got sick." I said "We don't complain, we just don't come back." ...and I won't. Mo's Irish Pub is next door and has an excellent gluten free menu, go to Mo's!!
Horrible. Stated twice that I needed a GF bun, was brought a burger on a bun that looked just like everyone else's... it was a regular bun! Then was told I didn't specify... they did being me a gf bun to put the same burger on... needless to say, everyone else ate and I'm still hungry.
After coming here three times and ordering the same thing each time, server informed me that there was no dedicated French fryer despite me asking the same question on the previous visits and being told that the fries were in a dedicated fryer. I had ordered the fries on previous visits based on that information. Manager confirmed no dedicated fryer. I'm also dairy free and I asked what sides could be done gf/df and was told the brown rice. The rice came out covered in margarine and smelling like soy sauce. The rice is not listed on gf menu. Never coming back here. They can't make you a safe meal.
I'm new to the GF world. Their menu says foods are gluten free. I had the parm fries and even asked the waiter who confirmed they were GF. Didn't think I needed to ask if they had a separate fryer. Needless to say I got sick. I will return to try other options.
Just stopped here with my celiac child, the gf menu listed on their website and the one we were given in the restaurant were different. They fry everything in a common fryer!! They did have gf buns but did not would like they could guarantee anything. We left, not worth making him sick. Nice people just not as advertised 😕
I've eaten here about a half dozen time and loved it until my most recent visit when I found some form of breading in my fish tacos which they said were GF. I asked my server what was it, she proceeded to tell me it was GF and made at a GF station. It was definitely A PIECE OF A CHICKEN STRIP!!! Highly disappointed!!!!!!
They have a pretty good selection. Dedicated menu. Steaks, burgers, flatbreads. Even though the french fries say gf, they don't have a dedicated fryer and they made me sick. I almost always get the burger with mashed potatoes which are delicious. They also have edamame as the only gf appetizer but you have to ask for it without the sauce.
I'm gluten sensitive and loved having some menu options. I love their scallops and will go back for more soon!
We never got past the knowledgeable host at the front who informed us that they do have gluten free items but they only call themselves gluten sensitive. All GF items are prepared on the same equipment as gluten foods and so cross contamination will be an issue. We chose to not take the chance and left to eat somewhere else.
Crowded. Long wait to get seated. GF menu. Baked potato and broccoli only with entres. Have to ask for butter. No salad with dinner. Friendly and accommodating waitress. Long wait for check and then getting change. It was a Saturday evening in their defense.
They have a GF menu here (ask your server for it), but are very clear on it about cross contamination risks. One thing that's weird is the GF menu very clearly has no fries on it (sub baked potatos) but the ONLY thing on the regular menu that gets their "G=contains gluten free ingredients" (which is meaningless, really) are the frites (fancy French fries). The frites have things like powdery parmesean cheese with multiple mystery dipping sauces, so I'm suspicious about the percentage of "gluten free ingredients" in there. I ordered the BBQ salmon salad which was SUPER good. Make sure you clearly say no tortilla chips! Maybe I should have been more firm (I mean I ordered it off the GF menu, but I get embarrassed because I'm gluten sensitive not allergic) but I wound up having to pick them all off, and they get everywhere. The manager did come over unprompted and apologized for it, asked if I wanted to swap for a chip-free plate which was just good service.
I ate here many times before being diagnosed as I work acorss the street. However, I haven't eaten there since because their menu states that although they have gluten free items, their kitchen is not equipped to handle cross contamination concerns. Having been to the restaurant many times, I am afraid to say that I wouldn't trust the staff to keep my food safe.
