I tried this place for breakfast on Friday while on an overnight trip to NYC. They are 100% gluten free ( among other food allergens) and Paleo/Primal. To say I enjoyed it would be an understatement. When you walk in, the atmosphere is really alive. They have a few seats to the right and a 'bar' where you can eat, more like a counter. I think they called it a 'mash bar' since they also make smoothies. Coffee is made behind counter as well. You can see/ pick out your fruit for smoothie. They also have a bakery case. It all looked amazing. I had a strawberry Paleo muffin, so yummy. At the back, they sell their own products like granola, Brownies, chia pudding, chocolate bars( I bought the dark chocolate banana). It was very rich and delicious. I ordered two plates so I could eat one on the train on the way back. I had a Paleo wrap with egg whites, sweet potato hash and veggies. I was so full but had to finish, I loved it! For the train I ordered Jordy Cakes with cashew cream and berries. They were banana pancakes and almond flour I think. The cashew cream was amazing. There was also seating upstairs. Chairs were made out of tree trunks, so cool looking. Coffee condiment area had coconut sugar, coconut milk ( which I love in my coffee), almond milk, among other alternatives. I highly, highly recommend this place. If I lived in NYC I would probably go broke from eating there every day, you could not keep me out of this place. Can't wait to go back, nor soon enough!!
