Huey’s does have a gluten free menu but it amounts to ‘just remove the bread’. Not good for Celiac due to cross contamination per the waitress. I am also dairy free. In response to my queries of various options, waitress appeared to be extremely annoyed and said, “You can’t eat nothing here.” So, there you have it.

New Years Day breakfast. Got the name your own omelet and grits. Pretty good. My husband loves Huey’s

It was just ok. Waitress could not find the gluten free menu. She told me they can figure out how to make what I want gluten free. I ordered the eggs Benedict without the English muffin. It was so plain. I’ve had way better. Not worth going here.

Dinner here was something of an adventure. The wait staff seemed knowledgeable but the catfish was sent out half raw. The wait staff fixed it as soon as they could.

I enjoyed my experience here! They had a separate GF menu which made it easy to order. I do think it was a little overpriced for what you get, but as to be expected with any restaurant on the river. I had the muffuletta salad with no reaction :)

Would give zero stars if I could. Do not go here. I got a salad… found a crouton in it. Luckily it was after my first bite. I’m a pretty relaxed person but this was not it.

Separate GF menu def helps. Mostly their normal menu minus the bread. They do offer GF bread they will add to any menu item

Mot much to eat. The eggs Benedict minus the English muffins are not good. I ordered breakfast potatoes and they were creamy. The side of red beans and rice was ok.

They have a separate GF menu which is essentially all of their items without bread. Still extensive options. I got a breadless eggs Benedict with spinach and cheese grits and it was delicious.

Great location and a fairly large gluten free menu! They do not have gluten free bread or buns, but there is still a good variety between eggs, grits and breakfast potato's. Knowledgeable and very careful about cross contamination, most if their sauces are gluten free (including the Hollandaise!!) And the servers can steer you clear of anything that might not be safe. Can't wait to visit again and enjoy a brunch on the river!
No GF menu but they had a separate sheet of paper that described GF options. Worked out well for us. It’s a busy place but after talking with a manager we felt safe to be eating there.
Not for those with celiac ever. No gf menu but it has a scratch kitchen and waitstaff are willing to discuss allergy adaptations. The quality of the food is excellent. And you can sit out on River street and watch the world go by.
