Just went for my 35th birthday dinner with my husband last night. Everything we had was delicious, drinks included.
Everything is said to be naturally GF, so i had peace of mind ordering. I had no issues after. However, I would definitely mention if you are Celiac because they do offer flour tortillas union request, So cross contamination could happen.

Spectacular food and service. Staff assured me that they took cross contamination precautions seriously and my request for my own chips and salsa was granted without any skepticism—I don’t eat food touched by “bread eaters”. The chips for salsa were also small enough to eat with a fork as I do not touch my food after touching surfaces that may have come in contact with gluten. I had the wagyu steak and enchilada—quite tasty. I did not get sick and I will definitely go back.

It’s Spanish/Mexican fusion…interesting food. Bit expensive for children…
The food was delicious, but I live in Seattle where gluten allergies are taken more seriously by kitchen preparations. I hoped with the reviews this place would work for me. I vomited the entire meal. By my symptoms it was definitely a cross contamination with gluten reaction.

Consistently great food and generally great hospitality. My husband and I are here either in person or grabbing take out about once a week. It’s so nice to be able to dine out with no fear of ending up sick. Lunch, dinner, brunch - all worth a visit for.

Date Night but make it Gluten Free! So happy to have found Hugos, was told by a friend who had been holding out on me. Loved everything I have tried from here, was told only a couple of menu items have gluten and were able to clearly identify them. Make sure to ask your waiter/waitress for details before ordering. Everything is made fresh and delicious. Love coming here with my husband or girlfriends. My favorite is the pork belly chicharrón and the carne asada.

Tried Hugo's for lunch and it was pretty good. They were out of the salmon dish that I tried to order, so they suggested the Salmon Nachos. They were ok, just not what I was hoping for. My husband got the brisket tacos and enjoyed them. Their decor is unique and refreshing, most of the staff seemed to be well trained an on their game. Our waiter was MIA a lot? But, I saw the others on the floor, frequently, taking good care of their tables. The luck of the draw, I guess. I would definitely try it again, especially with so many positive reviews.

Really good food! Would definitely come back. Hostess made me aware that this place was 95% gluten-free and I could order anything I wanted from the menu with no problem. after sitting down I asked the waitress and she said order anything you like the only thing with gluten is the beer and flour tortillas if someone really wants a flour tortilla they can sub a flour tortilla instead of the regular corn ones that they use as a default. The table on either side of us who is also gluten-free and this seems to be a well-known restaurant for gluten free. Service is fantastic. Food is also fantastic as is the atmosphere even the bathrooms are wonderful! The sangria is $.99 with pretty much any entrée order you can also get a margarita. They are minis and really good. Not enough to get tipsy. I usually don’t like sangria but this was really great with a full flavor profile.

I went twice for dinner while traveling for work. I loved the flavor of the food and drinks. The chicken soup I got twice. My favorite dessert is the blue corn flan. I had enchiladas each night. Drinks are on point. Service is excellent.

I really wanted to like this place, but I had a severe gluten reaction after eating here. I called and talked to the manager and the chef who both said what I ate did not contain gluten, but my reaction was immediate and specific to how I react to gluten and I hadn’t eaten anywhere else that day. I really like their sister restaurant, Honest Tacos, and have never had a problem there.

My new favorite place!! There are only a few things on the menu that aren’t gluten-free and my server was kind enough to double check for me. I felt completely safe eating here, even normal! Felt weird having basically free reign to order whatever I wanted from a huge menu!! On top of that, the food was delicious and presented beautifully. I will definitely be back!!

This place is amazing for non-Celiac and Celiac persons. It all tastes so fresh and good! Most of the menu is gluten free including the homemade corn tortillas. Even the strawberry tres leches cake is gluten-free! We eat here all the time for business and special occasions-it feels festive and fun too. We have never, ever gotten sick from gluten exposure…

They have a large selection of gf items. I however did not enjoy my tacos they were a bit dry. Would go back and try something else.
I’ve been there several times. They have great Mexican food with flavors of Yucatán. We ordered curbside takeout during our last visit and the takeout food was just as good as inside the restaurant.
Their entire menu is gluten-free. They do carry flour tortillas, but you have to ask for them specifically. The staff seems very well trained and provided an extensive explanation of the measures they take to avoid cross-contamination.
