Small business but great options for gluten free and vegans alike. The bread was good and they even have a juice bar! The sides were not very good but the service was friendly and fast

The chicken parmesan sandwich was great; fries were just ok. Love that everything is GF! Nice atmosphere. Would like to come back to try some of their brunch dishes

It's very pricey but the quality does not match the price. I had Oscar's burger for $20.81. The fries were a a moist flaccid puke while the burger was dense and lacking fat

I have eaten here four times and each time have tried a different dish. I am not only gluten free but dairy free, corn free, egg free and nut free so eating out is tough. Half the battle is finding gluten free options but that isn't a problem at Hugo's and they have made any accommodations I have asked for. So far I have tried vegan alfredo, Hugo's burger (no cheese, no bun), pea bruschetta (no cashew spread) and lemon chicken. Every time I go I am so thankful for so many options and I know I will have a pleasurable dining experience. Added bonus...their patio is dog friendly!

First of all, I am very glad that places that are fully gluten-free are great, and that I appreciate not having to figure out what I can eat and not having to explain my celiac restrictions to the staff. It's also great that there are plenty of vegetarian options, as I follow a vegetarian diet by choice.

Unfortunately, I have to say that, besides the dessert, this restaurant is far from being the greatest gluten-free restaurant that I have eaten at. I found the mushrooms in my French Onion Sandwich to lack a lot of flavor, as if they didn't have any salt or other seasonings. Possibly, this is due to the fact that this place caters to a health-conscious audience that prefers low amounts of sodium. I was hoping that the vegan au jus that came with the sandwich would have been made with gluten-free soy sauce or tamari to add some "oomph", but this was not the case. The tiny bit of aioli-style vegenaise that I got to taste on the sandwich was great, but there was not much of it to be found. The highlight of the dish were the sweet potato fries which had a pleasant taste and texture and did not lack flavor. The best part of my visit was the dessert. I ordered a raw chocolate cheesecake that did not disappoint. It was rich and very chocolatey.

If you don't mind food that lacks salt or a punch, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I can really only recommend this place for its understanding of dietary restrictions and the dessert.

Everything was tiny servings, bland, completely tasteless, and extremely over priced. I get that it was organic and I'd be happy with a small item if it was good quality and tasty but this was ridiculous. $10 for a kid buttered noodles, it came out in a big bowl and had 1/2 cup of noodles drowning in oil with a teeny pinch of something on top, cheese apparently. The kid pizza was so small with barely anything on it at $14 one expects much more. I had a $14 portobello French dip, supposedly served with sautéed portobellos, onions and peppers with au jus and a side of sweet potato fries. What I got was a 4" tasteless soggy piece of bread with 4 thin slices of mushrooms and lots of onions, no peppers, in a totally tasteless void of any sort of seasoning weird blackish juice. The potatoes were cold and ok but hardly fries. There really was nothing redeeming about this meal. I left and had to go feed my kids something else. Would never recommend this place. There was another family talking about how they wouldn't be back either. It was pretty awful and totally overpriced. I can get tastier GF pasta at QFC for $2.89 for 12oz. So sadly disappointing.
