Great place, if you're in tbe area call in. Great for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Most of the menu is or can be gluten free. GF pancakes, bread and knowledgeable staff on cross contamination etc.
Lovely staff amd firendly atmosphere, all very welcoming and feels like a popular local resturant.
Lots of specials as well as the mains that you can see on line.
Huge gluten free selection and the menu is clearly marked. Great cross contamination practices. Great service. The server asked for all of my allergies prior to ordering, but I did notify him first. I actually feel full from a gf pancake! If you are ever in the area do not pass up a chance to go here for excellent food and service.
I was overwhelmed with all of the choices, I had to take recommendations from the staff. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free. My server showed she understood cross contact and said she would convey to the kitchen. I will definitely need to come back the next time I’m in the area!
We ate here a lot during our 2 week stay and the food was great. Both myself and my daughter are very sensitive coeliacs. The majority of the menu is GF anyway. I am also vegetarian and there were so many choices! The waiting staff were very knowledgeable and helpful
Yum! The whole menu is GF or GF optional. So nice to have the whole menu available vs having to make do. Nice space, friendly and attentive staff. Great coffee. GF breakfast pasta? Yes, please. GF crispy flatbread eggs benedict with perfectly poached eggs, delicious hollandaise, and crispy rosemary roasted yellow potatoes? 200% yes! GF done right!
Absolutely loved Hugo's! We went twice for breakfast and almost grabbed dinner too. Everything was incredible, especially for those with dietary restrictions. My wife has gluten intolerance, and they could make everything gluten-free! It wasn't just your basic eggs and bacon either - they had creative, chef-quality dishes. She loved the gluten-free cinnamon swirl French toast so much we asked if the bread was made in-house (it was!), and they even let us buy a loaf to take home! Loved the classic architecture arches and stained glass also.
So many things on this menu are celiac safe! I had a field day and tried a ton but can't wait to come back. They marked my spot at the table with a coaster to signify my gluten allergy. The waitress was very accommodating. I found the French toast to be ok, but not great. I want to try the dinner menu next time!
So good we went here twice in one day. Had battered fried chicken and mashed potatoes, nachos, breakfast scramble, waffles, and cinnamon buns. Very very accommodating. All completely gluten and dairy free. Neither my son or I got sick and we are very very sensitive. Wish I lived closer- I’d eat there every day.
I just went there for brunch and it was amazing. Service was great and everything I ate was delicious. Even the fries are gluten free with no cross contamination in the fryer which was an amazing surprise, I was totally expecting them to say there was cross contamination. It seems like nearly every item on the menu is either gluten free or has a gluten free option! 10/10 would recommend.
My server was new so not super knowledgeable but was able to get info from someone in the kitchen. Got a basic breakfast and french toast it was really good. I was so excited to try their hush puppies and they were great. Their fried pickles weren't my favorite but my husband liked them.
Clearly marked gf on menu. Server confidence in gf, also made kitchen aware of my needs. Food was very good, lots to choose from
A revelation! The pasta, French toast, and churros were soooo good. Most of the menu was gluten free or could be made so with substitutions. It was also terrific for folks with multiple restrictions because the vegan and nut free options were endless including when you were seeking out gluten free dishes like the glorious French toast.
This place is amazing and almost everything on the menu is 100% GF or can be made GF. We ate there twice for breakfast and they did not disappoint. The first day I had the GF chocolate chip pancakes and the were amazing and my partner had the GF cinnamon french toast. The second day I built my own egg breakfast with GF toast and rosemary potatos. I would highly recommend this place. They also had lots of GF dinner options.
They had fried pickles!!! The waitress was extremely knowledgeable as soon as i mentioned celiac she knew. The whole menu is marked whether it can be made gf or whether it is prepared gf naturally. 95% of the menu could be made gf and our waitress mentioned all their cross contamination procedures. Did not get sick either and i am very sensitive
