We were her a few times. Knowledge staff is hit and miss. We've had very helpful to one that had no clue. Choices are marked and the food is delicious. They will try and work with any choice to make it gluten free.

Only went for dinner and had a great experience. ~25% of menu marked “GF optional”. Had the ahi carpaccio and laulau, both which were delicious and flavorful. Didn’t ask about separate pans/cross contamination as I am not that sensitive, but regardless did not get sick at all.

I did not try breakfast. Lunch and dinner had limited options. I had the New York steak and the time I was there for dinner as they opened the wait staff checked and the chef was willing to cook in a separate pan. Very limited options but the staff were helpful.

Chef refused a request to make a gluten free BLT despite them having gluten free bread, bacon, tomato and lettuce, which I knew from breakfast. There are good gluten free breakfast options but very limited for other meals and the non steak options were gloppy and unappetizing. Staff is unhelpful. Avoid this place unless you like paying premium prices for mediocre food.

The food at Huihui is generally fantastic and service is great but the GF options could be improved. GF items are marked on menu and there aren’t many, but there are a number of items marked as possible to make GF. Unfortunately this typically means they omit the sauce, so the gf possible option is pretty bland. The breakfast options are a bit better than dinner. They do take allergies very seriously and are careful to check with the chef, good about answering questions, and tell you your dish is gf when they bring it to the table. Just wish they had better options.
