The reviews for Humagalas are mixed here and on other review sites. It seems that the wait staff has had it's ups and downs. Overall I had a good experience. The waitress was knowledgeable and kind although I did not ask about cross contamination. They have gluten free pizza crust and burger buns (white udis or similar). I generally avoid pizza due to high probability of cross contamination so I had a burger with the housemade chips and did not get sick (I am usually pretty sensitive). I was hesitant to eat here because of the reviews but I think it's worth a try (at least for a burger).

Nothing here is apparently gluten free or gluten safe despite what they tell you. I was told by the owner that they took extra precautions but just told by the bartender that none of that it true.

They HAD gluten free crust that was pretty good, however they discontinued it and now only sell cauliflower crust as “gluten free””

The waiter told me I would likely get sick because they didn’t have a specific gluten free menu so we left.... was so frustrated

Humagalas opened up in the location that used to be DuClaws. They tout themselves as a "seed to table" using locally sourced ingredients. For the most part, the food was really good. Being our first time here, we decided to order a few items off of the menu and share. They have fries with toppings (in our case we went with garlic parmesan) and they delicious. They offer sauces to dip the fries in but I did not very or ask if they were safe. The fries were good they way they came.Their gluten free pizza was very good. They used an herb infused GF crust which was very flavorful. Many specialty pizzas and build-your-own. Ordered the Margherita and I definitely recommend it. Many burger options to choose from as well as build-your-own. Many different selections of meat including Elk, Wagyu, Bison on top of Dry Aged Beef. The GF buns are not that good. Very dry and falls apart. Probably better off going bun-less in my opinion. The meat on my burger was cooked a bit over what I desired.Plenty of adult beverage options, They have Angry Orchard on draft.Best items I had were the fries and pizza. Owner stopped by table and verified that only thing that goes in their fryers are fries so there was no cross-contamination concerns. No ill effects, will go there again...
