After reading the reviews here, I wanted to give this place a try. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and wanted to confirm which foods were gluten free. The person at the counter had no idea what was gluten free, he then asked someone preparing the food what was gluten free and it seemed they could not decide if the food had gluten in it or not. We decided to try somewhere else since the people working here seemed unsure of which foods were gluten free.

Food is delicious, menu doesn't label what's gluten free but when I called the gentleman on the phone was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! Dedicated fryer for the falafels which are gf but the fries and other gluten items are fried in a different fryer together. Schwarma is so ridiculously good. Thrilled to know I can eat here!

Definitely the go to spot on UPenn’s campus for a gluten free meal.

GF falafel! I asked and they confirmed there’s a dedicated fryer. The menu is mostly GF, only the things you’d expect (pita, tabouli, fried eggplant) are not. Prices are super reasonable and portions are big.

Owner was extremely knowledgeable about celiac. He asked if I had a gluten sensitivity or full blown celiac. He also asked the severity and made sure his staff changed their gloves before making my food. The food was amazing. I got falafel with basmati rice, hummus, and cucumber tomato salad. Tons of GF options and I felt fine afterwards. They have a fryer specifically for falafel and cauliflower (which are both GF) I recommend this place

The staff was great and even though this app advertises a gluten free fryer, they do not have a gluten free fryer. They were knowledgeable about what had gluten and what didn’t. Celiac friendly, but as always, proceed with caution.
Yes
The staff had no ideas if any menu items were gluten free. They said that the fryer is used to fry breaded items. Really disappointing.

SO good. After telling the gentleman at the counter I needed everything to be gluten free, he asked if I had celiac disease or was just following a GF diet, which I greatly appreciated. He then told me what I could not have. I opted for a falafel platter with hummus, brown rice, beets and carrots. Everything was awesome!!

amazing little place, nice knowledgeable staff. cheep but hearty. nice place for a cheep GF meal.
The food is delicious and the staff is really knowledgable on Gluten Free and Vegan menu items. They have a dedicated GF fryer for their Falafels which are delicious. Their platters are great if you opt for no pita and rice instead of French fries. They also help steer you in the right direction for GF side options. Definite GF go-to spot

I ate here today and asked a few questions...I was told that the falafel itself is GF but is fried in the same pan as breaded eggplant. I was also informed that the fryer is NOT dedicated GF. I ended up ordering a hummus salad with no pita, no issues.
Most things on menu are gluten free. Really good, healthy alternative to fast food.
