I have a very high sensitivity to gluten and I have never had an issue here (I have eaten here many times). They have a gluten free menu. Just make sure the server knows you have an issue and ask them to tell the kitchen. I love their honey pecan salad and their island shrimp. Seating both inside or out, on the River.

Great for drinks & fun with my husband. But caution for this with celiac—had a major reaction after eating here this weekend. The waitstaff is super friendly & tries so hard, but they’re not prepared for celiac disease. Heads up.
No
They have gluten free options, but I wouldn't say it is safe for celiacs
Yes
They don't understand allergies whatsoever. Perfect place to go if you want a reaction.

This was our second visit to the Hurricane Grill in Tavares. Awesome service and food. Wait staff were knowledgeable concerning gluten allergies. Had the Maui sandwich first visit and grilled shrimp the second. They have added GF yellow rice to their sides! I liked the Coco Loco sauce so much that we purchased extra to take home to cook with.

Hurricane Grill in clermont has a gluten "sensitive" menu but it appears they have no knowledge or training in preparing celiac or allergy friendly food. I spoke with the manager and was very uncomfortable with her answers so I chose to eat nothing.
