Ordered sushi without imitation crab meat and my food was flagged “gluten allergy”. Waitress seemed knowledgeable about gluten free items and brought gluten free soy sauce to the table. Only concern was the soy sauce was in a bottle with an expired date. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they said they just reuse the bottle and refill it with gluten free soy sauce from a large container in the back. I enjoyed my food and didn’t get sick.
I have eaten here at least 4 times, never a problem. I am celiac. You do have to speak to the staff to explain, but they have gluten free soy sauce and understand.
The menu didn’t have dedicated gluten free options but the staff was able to cook my food separate without sauces and it was delicious! I did not try their sushi since they seemed unsure.
