I've eaten here a few times in recent months and have never had an issue. Staff seems very knowledgeable about gluten free protocol. The food is delicious. The gluten free bread is some of the best.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their Gluten Free offerings. Highly recommend.

Richard and Tommy behind the counter were super friendly and knowledgeable about safe food preparation for a celiac. They assured me that they use ingredients from the back, one person handled my sandwich from start to finish, and it was DELICIOUS. The bun was soft and not crumbly. It was unlike any other bread I’ve gotten from any other restaurant. Yay!!!!

Been going to this Ike’s for years The workers are just awesome Always take special precautions for gf celiac Does look like high risk of cross contamination given bread and food everywhere but I haven’t had a reaction

Came here with some friends for the first time and the woman serving me was gluten free so I felt as though I was in very safe hands. She’d recommended the Jim Rome to me and I’d chosen to swap out the pesto and cheese (I’m completely lactose free too) and replaced it with some banana peppers. Super tasty and definitely a good grab and go lunch place!!

Best gluten free bread option I've found at a sandwich place! Yes a gf bread option !!! Not a wrap! not a slice! But...an actual gf bread roll!

How gluten-free is it really?

We LOVE this part! Each Ike's Place has a gluten- free "kit" for making celiac-safe sandwiches, and a designated area where only the gluten-free ones are prepared. Hand washing, fresh gloves, separate condiments, knives and utensils are all part of the process. Of course, it is a busy place with plenty of gluten in the environment, so there is always some risk. However, Ike's seems to truly take the commitment and staff training seriously.

I was super surprised about their great known of GF cross contamination and they do make sure with glove changes and foil under the bread that they are very careful for Celiacs.
