My favourite GF Japanese restaurant. Many others are starting to copy what they have done but IKI will always be the leader. My favorites are the real crab cali roll, ebi roll, goyza and the gomae.

How amazing to feel completely safe eating sushi! Feels like an indulgence to eat tempura and all the yummy deep fried offerings here. Presentation is beautiful and they have unique flavors and dishes. A little pricey but totally worth it.

Found this place on our trip to Vancouver. Let me just say it was so nice to eat out safely at a restaurant that is completely gluten free. Plus the food was so delicious we actually had dinner here twice on our short trip! The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and even recommended some gluten free bakeries nearby!

100% GF - including tempura - delicious sushi worry free. What a relief to be able to order anything! Reservations a good idea for larger groups and weekend.

Food is very good, ambiance is basic and seating isn’t large, so parties of 4+ might want to reserve. They also have odd hours do check that before going. Thank goodness for this 100% certified GF Japanese restaurant. Great sushi, tempura and other fried dishes all safe fir Celiacs. They have a plaque on the wall stating they were Canada’s first all GF restaurant establishment. Highly recommend.

This place is wonderful. Everything is GF and safe for other allergies too. But most importantly it’s DELICIOUS. Wide-ranging menu of Japanese classics as well as innovative and fun twists on sushi rolls.

This is gluten free heaven for sure. The food is very good and did not compromise taste or texture. Their tempura was yummy and the gyoza was very good. The spicy calamari was very good and tender. We ordered the Bistro roll and enjoyed it. I will return to this place. I felt very safe eating here because I knew there was no cross contamination.

Delicious! It’s so nice to have a safe place to eat sushi! Everything I’ve had has been amazing! Go everytime we are in Vancouver if they are open. My only complaint is their hours are a bit all over the place and tough to know when they will be open.

Iki was a fun experience for me and my boyfriend! The staff was very kind and helpful with my shellfish allergy and it was nice knowing everything was gluten free so I only had one restriction to track. I had the pork gyoza, which were delicious, and he had the mango roll and dynamite roll. Both were good, but he said the mango roll was a must-order! Highly recommend this place and calling ahead to make a reservation!

Food was delicious and the staff was great. The fish was fresh and the gyoza was tasty. Gluten free beer is also available! There are signs in the restaurant saying that outside food is not permitted since it is a gluten free environment. This place is a gem and will be back next time I’m in Vancouver.

100% dedicated Gluten Free. Very safe for celiacs and those with wheat allergies. They ask before you’re seated of any allergies. Extremely cautious and safe restaurant. Food tastes great many options to choose from. You will not be disappointed.

Make sure to call ahead if you are a bigger party because when we went they were only taking reservations only. Luckily, we were only a party of two so they were able to seat us. They only had sushi, fries and tempura fish available on the menu. UPDATE: went again and I can say this place is truly a gem. Authentic tasty food. Make sure to get the yam fries they are quite delicious. Dedicated all GF spot!

Awesome! Coming from Australia as a coeliac, I can’t remember the last time I are Japanese food. It was so good I ordered here several times and the knowledge that I wasn’t going to get sick afterwards, even better. Chicken noodle soup and sushi a highlight. Highly rated.

My wife is celiac, but Im not and this is by far our favourite place to eat. The food and service is amazing. Must try’s on the menu are; yam fries, Agedashi tofu, and the dynamite rolls.

This is a dedicated gluten free facility, where celiacs can enjoy tempura, gyoza, etc etc.

Other allergies are listed on the menu as well: vegan, gluten free, egg free, dairy free, nut free, and soy free.

This is a totally gfree restaurant! So wonderful to be able to choose anything off the menu! The tempura shrimp was super crispy and delicious, tempura vegetables were really yummy. Spider roll was great too! I’ve been gluten free for 20 years so I can’t compare to “regular” tempura or sushi but I really enjoyed it!

Before finding Iki, it had been years since I could a) confidently eat sushi without worrying that my server didn’t understand ‘gluten free’ (in Japanese cuisine the gluten is so often in the rice wine vinegar, wasabi or imitation crab). b) actually eat all the typical gluten filled Japanese dishes like gyoza, tempura + teriyaki. Iki is dedicated celiac gluten free. I can eat ANYTHING on the menu which is a dream come true. The food is amazing. It’s some of the best sushi you can get in Vancouver. It’s a bit pricier than your typical sushi place. BUT IT’S WORTH IT. I’ve gone crazy with the gyoza + tempura. And their Fire Tower yam fries with miso + hot sauce. I highly recommend Iki!!!

This was like heaven. It’s been soooo long since I’ve had tempura and gyoza and agedashi tofu. I had these along with sushi rolls and nigiri. The food was excellent. The service excellent. No complaints here. All happiness.
