The owners have celiac disease so they take it very seriously!! The menu changes every month but there is always options for gf. Their gluten free short pasta and gf bread is to die for. They use separate water and pans to boil their pasta. The servers are very knowledgeable!!! I was so bummed after diagnosis because I thought I'd never get good Italian food again. This place is a must when you are in Grand Junction!!!!

Good experience, they seated us even though we didn't have a reservation. GF options were marked on the menu. Host said both owners have Celiac, so they take Celiac very seriously. Expensive and a somewhat limited menu, but the food was good.

Last night I had my first 4 course meal at a restaurant in AGES. Plus bread! Not kidding. Gluten AND dairy free. Every bite. And it was all DELICIOUS! If you’re ever in Grand Junction, I highly recommend Il Bistro Italiano. M husband had regular items (full of gluten & dairy), and he was impressed with his food as well. Said it was sooooo good. Definitely a place to make EVERYONE happy.

Amazing service from an extremely nice young man "Nicholas." Excellent location peaceful. they gave us an artichoke soup because the kitchen was backed up and the Conno pizza I had was delicious with incredibly fresh tomato sauce. I had the most delicious garden salad of my life along with a beef dish. I'll likely go back while I'm in Grand Junction to try one of the pasta dishes.

Owners are celiac and they have secured the best tasting gf options available. I had a linguini pasta with shrimp and avocado, delicious. They also had gf bread with a moist, springy center and crispy outside best ever! With olive oil and balsamic or hummus for dipping. Don't miss this place!!

So many gluten free options and they appear to be very conscientious to not allow cross contamination. I had their GEMELLI BIANCHI but with GF pasta instead of Gemelli, it was so delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes that were calling my name ;-)

Great option for gf diners. They offered gf bread and clearly marked all gf items on the regular menu. Friendly staff and great tasting food.
