okay, so…I’ve always dined at in n out with no problems in the last year that I went GF with celiac disease. this in n out is a regular location of mine. i always order my food “with an allergy to gluten” and they are usually very attentive. this time, they weren’t. i got glutened by my flying dutchman (cheese & patty). cannot safely dine at this location anymore!

The cashier let me know that, as a Celiac, I could safely have the protein-style burger. She wasn’t able to describe the CC measures that marking the order as “allergen” would trigger, though. She asked the kitchen manager, who just described glove changing.
As In n Out is well known for being careful with their GF customers, I felt confident ordering.
My order was served in a separate basket from my partner’s burger with bun. Didn’t even think to ask for that precaution. Good call, In n Out!
I have celiac, been here several times always get double double wrapped in lettuce and fries , no problems
I’ve never had any problems here and I go a lot, I always say I have a gluten allergy and they put it on the ticket and make sure to be extra careful.
Protein style, lettuce wrapped burger with fries for the win! They do such a great job reducing the chance for cross contamination while producing an excellent tasting meal.
Love the protien style burger.
