Owner us celiac and everything is truly gluten FREE. She said they even cleaned air vents and scrubbed walls when they got the shop! Best texture I have ever had even my non gluten free fiancé enjoyed a bite of my cinnamon roll (I wasn’t sharing more lol) they were so knowlagable and sweet! We are only here for a week and I will be coming back!
The best GF bakery!! Grace is incredible, she has unmatched range and it is clear that the focus is on taste, rather than simply being gluten free. My family can never tell that things are gluten free - from French bread to cookies and cinnamon rolls. Also, don’t miss the ice cream cookie sandwiches. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
Amazing! We stopped by the shop every day of our stay in Steamboat. When I say the treats are amazing, I mean it. They are not your typical gluten free baked goods, you will be addicted after you have treats from Inclusions. And...as a bonus, they don't upcharge for gluten free!
I would say they have the BEST gluten free pies I’ve ever had in my life(the chocolate pie)…but I don’t want them to sell out. I’m not joking when I say I get these pies driven down to me in Durango from family in Steamboat. These are pies that start family feuds if they take too big a piece.
Friendly staff and loads of selection which are ALL gluten free along with some dairy free and vegan options.
Inclusions bakery is an amazing spot for fully gluten-free treats both sweet and savory. For those with a wheat allergy there is no wheat starch used within the bakery itself and I didn’t see any listed in the third party retail items around the shop. Inclusions does a great job with other allergies as well offering many dairy-free and vegan items when possible and doesn’t use nut flours in any baked goods (except macarons ofc) The owner is amazing and if you have any special requests, as long as you give them 24/48 hours notice they can make just about anything. Inclusions has catered many wedding and special events around Steamboat Springs where I have been lucky to try their treats. Lastly they always have cinnamon rolls on Saturdays and cinnamon rolls/pecan sticky buns on Sundays that are to die for. (If you are in town wandering around the farmers market during the summer season, you can find the Inclusions booth manned by the bacon man selling cinnamon rolls and other treats as well!)
First, the employee working when we went in was the sweetest person and very helpful. There is a large variety of choices, GF, DF, and vegan, including things like breakfast scrambles to go, and sweet and savory packaged snacks. I’m really sorry to say this about a place that is serving a niche market where this is needed, but the baked goods we had were everything that gives gluten free food a bad name: stiff, crumbly, overly sugary, and flavorless. We tried cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. They were all the same, with the exception of the cookies, which were dense but moist, and tasted good. I really hope that maybe we were there on an off day or that there are some tweaks coming to improve the quality, because we all want to see small businesses like this succeed!
This place is heaven! The info online made it look almost exclusively like a sweets place but they have incredible savory stuff too. Their garlic loaf legitimately made me cry with how amazing and special it was to have a fresh baked, moist loaf fresh out of the oven. They also have frozen meals and quiches they will heat up for you to go for a quick bite. Both the gals behind the counter were knowledgeable and even had some deep, niche allergen knowledge regarding almond flavoring. Incredible! Go! The only thing I would have loved was a spot to sit down and enjoy a few rounds of tasting everything they had to offer.
Holy cow. When you walk into Grace's dedicated gluten free bakery, you have entered Celiac Heaven. Fresh baked bread (the rosemary and white chocolate is a must), cinnamon rolls, scones, cupcakes, brownies, quiches, carrot cake,....I mean, what does she not bake? Everything we bought, and I mean everything, was outrageously amazing. Grace is also an incredibly kind and lovely person. I will absolutely order from her (she ships!). This place isn't a must, it's a what are you thinking if you don't!?
This place is amazing! They have the best cinnamon roll in the world!! Oh and yeah they are gluten free. It a must stop every time I am in steamboats! I always fill my bags with goodies to take home! Everything I have ever had here was amazing and taste just like I remember the gluten filled item tasting like.
What a wonderful bakery! Huge selection of baked goods. Very delicious!
What a wonderful shop and such lovely people! We bought 1 of each flavor quiche so we could take some home. We tried muffins and scones as well. Everything is so good! They do not charge a ‘celiac tax’ so prices are comparative to a non-GF bakery. They don’t take shortcuts on ingredients so the quality and flavors are wonderful. Your non-GF family and friends will also enjoy the food.
My husband and I visited hoping for fudge as I am gluten free, and little did we know this whole bakery is celiac friendly. The owner herself is celiac and has dedicated her store to being 100% celiac friendly. She is very kind and hospitable and makes the most delectable pastries. We went back every morning for breakfast while we were there. Please give it a try, I wish we lived nearby!
Staff were really helpful, nice selection even late in the day. So glad I stopped here.
Completely gluten free bakery. Owner is celiac and takes all the precautions. Though this bakery location has only been open about 1.5 weeks, the owner has been selling her baked goods for over ten years. Lots of different options from cinnamon buns to breads to cupcakes to muffins to macaroons and more. Some dairy free options as well. Totally worth stopping in!!!
We got rave reviews from a friend and decided to try it. We loved it, I would recommend to anyone gluten free. They were so friendly and super passionate. Everything in the place is gluten free so there is no cross contamination. I loved there variety they had everything from whoppe pies to pot pies. We got macaroons, mini whoppe pies, mouses, cheese crackers and banana bread. If your in Steamboat this is mandatory place to visit if you are gluten free.
