The counter lady Said the kitchen would take precautions such as using a clean cutting board and knife and gloves to make the sandwich.
I had the BLT on gf bread and it was really good. It came with potato salad that was also far above average. I also had the giant gluten free Earl Grey muffin. Yum!
They also sell gluten free packaged (Milton's brand) crackers by their cheese area. They also had 2 gluten free items in their Bakery case.
My husband had a Non-gf Gobbler sandwich and he didn't like it or care for the bread, so that it why I didn't give 5 stars.
I liked eating outside and they had blankets available since it was a tad chilly.
I went on a busy Saturday afternoon. You order at the counter, and I told the employee that I was Celiac and was worried about contamination in the kitchen. He promised I would be fine so I ordered a turkey sandwich on GF bread. It was yummy! They use the multigrain stuff so I could obviously tell it was different. I also had a fresh chocolate chip cookie that was individually wrapped. It was good but had a weird after taste. They also had yummy looking muffins in a shared case with other gluten pastries but I was too afraid to try one!
Came here over the weekend for breakfast with my daughter (6) who has Celiac disease. There were not a lot of baked good options (chocolate chip cookie, pumpkin loaf and blueberry loaf). We opted for a pumpkin loaf and scrambled eggs. My daughter said the pumpkin loaf was really good and she liked the eggs too. No issues with illness after eating here!
