Husband (celiac) has never had a problem here, which is great as this is the best BBQ in south central Indiana. He does not eat fries and he asks that the GF order is plated away from the orders that have cornbread.
Fries are not GF. Food is great, crumbly cornbread will def cross contaminate your food if they dont change gloves.
Let me start by saying aside from Celiac, this place is amazing and I'd give it 5 stars. Good whole food made from scratch. But from a cross contamination standpoint, it's a loss.
I got the salad bar plus some carved turkey. The manager was nice and accommodating, offering to wipe the prep counter and change his gloves but I'm telling you-they cross handle so much bread then touch all the meat roasts that it's pretty much 100% guaranteed that you're gonna get glutened.
If you're just avoiding gluten, this place is great but if you're celiac then don't eat anything here.

Watch this place!!!! The fries are not gluten free. They have a coating on them that contains gluten. Doesn't matter if they are in separate fryer when there is a gluten coating. There is significant cross contamination occurring with the handling of other customers's bread items and then using the same meat source to slice from. If you are truly gluten/ celiac then stay away from this place. I cringed at the food preparation so I decided to cancel my order. This facility has no knowledge of what is required to be gluten free safe.
