Celiac. Spoke to my waitress about my order - which was marked gluten free. Thankfully, she informed me that the home fries were not GF (tossed in flour to be exact) even tho the menu shows they are. She got the manager who came to the table to say the home fries are in fact- not gluten free. Why are there several dishes marked gluten free that are absolutely not gluten free?? Last time I visit any Iron Rooster and will be sending the company an email to try and get some answers. So irresponsible. ((Only choosing one star because the app requires it)).

I went for breakfast this morning and communicated to the waitress that I have celiac. She told me that I could not have home fries, but that eggs, bacon, and fruit would be safe for me. I ate half of my meal and then noticed that there were some stray home fries on my plate. I got sick within 15 minutes of leaving the restaurant.

I had a much better experience than the other Celiac who reviewed. Based on her review, I went prepared to just have coffee but our attentive and pleasant server Amanda brought out Brandon, the manager. He explained that the bacon is baked in the oven, the eggs are cooked separately and I was able to have eggs, bacon and fruit. I did not get sick—a Celiac win! Next time I’ll bring a piece of my own bread for the eggs.
I was refused service here this morning because I have celiac disease. The manager told me that it would take too long to make the simple omelet and fruit that I ordered and ensure it’s gluten free. I used to eat here all the time without a problem and I was humiliated this morning after waiting an hour for a table. I’ll never come here again. The manager also told me that they will no longer serve anyone with any kind of food allergy or restriction anymore. Please never ever come here!

Ate breakfast. The staff was very nice. Manager is has celiac and knowledgeable They off no bread options or pancakes etc. and no confidence in not cross contamination. Eggs bacon and home fries were very good. Missed toast!
I have a wheat allergy and not Celiac's... so YMMV.I asked for GF options and their menu does not list any. However the manager took a paper carry out menu and circled everything that would work for me and he crossed out things to avoid. This left mostly breakfast options... which is helpful for me. I just had a wonderful breakfast of oatmeal, eggs, ham, fried potatoes. I wanted to try their Latkes but I asked and they do use flour to make those... too bad. The manager said that they are working to include more GF options so I look forward to seeing if that happens. This is really good food and a wonderful atmosphere, great service and they made every attempt to accommodate me.I also want to say that their coffee is among the best I've had locally. I asked about it and learned that they have done their homework on that so it is good for a reason.
I had the blue crab hash. It was very good with poached eggs. The portion was enough too. I had the server indicate that I was allergic to wheat (celiac). I feel fine after my meal so that’s a plus!

While I really wish they could offer GF waffles/pancakes and GF chicken (because both look so good!), there are still a number of delicious options here that are GF. Waitstaff appeared to be knowledgeable about avoiding cross contamination and I’ve always felt safe ordering here (and have never gotten sick).
Order the Crab Hash bowl and enjoy one of the best meals in Annapolis!

Went here for lunch today and had a pleasant experience! Ordered the California club omelet with a fruit cup on the side. Waitress assured me the omelets were cooked in their own pans, but the home fries were cooked on the main griddle which is why I opted for the fruit cup instead. The waitress also gave me an allergy guide when I told her about my gluten intolerance that listed what allergens were in what foods and what foods could have possible cross contamination. I would definitely go back!
