BEST GF PIZZA IN MIAMI
I’ve lived in Miami for six years now and I’ve never tasted a gf pizza this good. It’s fluffy and savory unlike most gf pizzas I’ve tried. I’ve been going there for years now and I haven’t gotten sick of it. The restaurant itself is stunning with greenery and art. Theres a large chessboard for kids to play. It feels like a little secret area, hidden in Miami (which is probably how I haven’t found it until two years ago). I can’t speak highly enough of ironside
- I would like to note, I’m Celiac but if I eat gluten all I get is really painful stomach aches. I haven’t had stomach aches after eating their pizza, but I don’t think they have a separate gf kitchen. So if your reactions to gluten are more extreme I would suggest calling them in advance.
When I called they guaranteed the pizza was gluten free. When I got there and told them I was going to test the pizza with my Nima Well now the pizza isn’t safe. They said they make the gluten free pizza dough where the make regular pizza. So there is cross contamination. If you have celiac. This isn’t safe.
This is authentic Italian. They were preparing the GF crust, and it was going to take 30 minutes, even then they said they couldn’t guarantee it was safe for celiac. instead of pizza, I had an arugula salad with artichokes and roasted chicken, which were both excellent. I was pleased with the meal, and the atmosphere is great indoors and outside with excellent service.
We had a fantastic gluten-free pizza. We got the margherita and a salad. And of course gelato. The service was good and my daughter was happy. The one thing I was disappointed about is that there was no wine, however, you can bring your own and they provide wine glasses.
The vege GF pizza was delicious! Real crust rather than a premade frozen one and it came out super fast as well. Though a GF crust cost an extra $4 which was a bit extreme. I was disappointed with the service, the waiters all hung around the counters chatting and didn't come to check how our meals were. When our waitress finally came over to ask if we wanted dessert she only took my boyfriends order and walked off. It took another 10 mins for her to come back with his dessert to bring me a dessert menu for me to order.... I'm only giving it 5 stars cos the pizza was so damn good and fellow glutards should not have to miss out on amazing pizza.
A bit off the beaten path but well worth the trip. We got the GF pizza crust for a Celiac son and it was delicious, made in house and very well done. Followed up by dessert of a Nutella GF pizza. He was happy, the non GF-ers were happy, the area is interesting and great for kids to run around in the courtyard. Service not the quickest but for high quality Celiac friendly Pizza - again, well worth it. Just be sure to explain your needs regarding cross contamination, as all of us probably do by this point anyway. They will take extra precautions.
