I had dinner at Isle de Garde the other night. When I asked what was gf on the menu the waiter wasn’t sure and went to check with the kitchen. When he came back he asked if cross contamination was a concern and I told him it absolutely was. He then told me what I could and couldn’t have. There were a few options on the menu mostly salads and other veggie appetizers. I had the burger in a lettuce wrap with a kale salad. The fries were not safe as they do not have a dedicated fryer. The food was good, not extraordinary. I didn’t go out for dinner that often and I was hoping to at least be eating fries and a burger with a bun. That said, I appreciate that they were knowledgeable and I was there to socialize more than for a gastronomical experience.
