I'd gone to this restaurant several times before I was diagnosed with celiac's. I really liked many of their menu items, so even through their menu doesn't designate gluten-free items, I decided to go back and ask. Turns out that in addition to some salads and appetizers that are already gluten-free they can substitute gluten-free pasta (I was told handled, cooked, and drained separately) and gluten-free buns for their burgers and sandwiches, and they are quite willing to make gluten-free modifications wherever they can. I'll grant I am one who does not get digestive symptoms when I've been "glutened," but our waitress told us she was also gluten-free, so I was as confident as I could be that the importance of this was understood. My Cavatappi al Greco (with gluten-free pasta) and Chocolate Souffle was as delicious as ever. It would be optimum if they would print these potential substitutions on the menu, but it goes to show that you should ask.
