I haven’t had a problem with the gf salmon and guacamole here so far. We specify gluten free when ordering online and they’ve done a great job!

The worst dinner we have had in Cedar Park, TX. My daughter is a celiac. I’m not even sure what they tried to season her food with but it wasn’t edible. The appetizer was the only part of the meal we could eat.

Went there for Sunday brunch, but there were no GF options on the special brunch menu, the server checked with the kitchen, because he was not sure if any if the breakfast items were GF. Glad he checked as the potatoes are cooked in a shared fryer and the Barcoda also cintains gluten. So my daughter and I both ordered pork tacos from the GF menu, and asked if they could add a fried egg on top to make it a breakfast, and they did indeed do this for us. Pleased he also asked if our GF was preference or allergy and we told him we were both Celiac. We felt confident they knew to keep our food separate and free from cross contamination, and we did not get sick. The food was great! Great service too.

I called first and they were very helpful. They had a fairly extensive gluten-free menu! I was torn between several options but got the baja fish tacos, which were delicious. It came with cole slaw, which I normally don’t even like, but it was fantastic too.

The food was great. Nothing mind blowing, but solid and I felt fine after. Good selection on separate GF menu. Brought my my own pimento cheese with cucumber to avoid cross contamination.

We have eaten here twice and once at their sister restaurant, Salt Traders. I agree that the selection is kind of limited, but everything we have eaten has been excellent and we have never gotten sick. We have also found the staff to be helpful. If the waiter doesn’t know the answer, they have always asked the kitchen.
My husband and I truly enjoyed their Gluten Free Menu and the Managers Tim and Ben being very thorough to work with their Chefs to ensure I had a positive Gluten Free experience. Once they understood that I am extremely allergic to gluten. Joseph our waiter was great as well as he recommended the Slow-Roasted Green Chile Pork Tacos and Slow-Roasted Chicken Tinga Tacos, which we shared.

Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure everything I ordered and was served was safe for me to eat! I am GF and lactose intolerant, plus am sensitive to fatty and spicy foods. The bacon wrapped quail legs were delicious, and since the restaurant doesn’t have a dedicated GF fryer for their tortilla chips, our waiter had a plate of corn tortillas steamed for me to have with the salsa! I had the salmon for my entree which was delicious! Although the GF menu itself is limited, the staff is super flexible if you just ask! I highly recommend Jack Allen’s and will definitely be back!

Wonderful food and very knowledgeable about gf items and drinks. I recommend the fish tacos.

The gluten free menu had a really poor selection. I get that it is a southern style restaurant, but come on even the mash potatoes weren't safe?? I went with the pesto chicken with veggies. The chicken was good, not fantastic or amazing, but good. However, the veggies were soggy and burnt all to hell. The only thing I enjoyed was the bacon wrapped qual appetizer, which was delicious!
The gluten free menu has a great selection
I highly suggest the smashed guacamole

Jack Allen's is the BEST restaurant in the area AND though I have eaten there many times I have never gotten sick once, and I am Celiac and super sensitive.

Food was delicious, service great, but I've been so sick since I ate there yesterday. I think my server recommended a appetizer that wasn't gf. I had pimiento cheese & cucumber appetizer with fish tacos. I've heard great things about this place, but my tummy didn't like it

Loved the green chili and pork tacos. The guacamole is also delicious. The gluten free dessert is amazing. I know that I am sure to come back soon πππ»πππ»πππ»π
I love Jack Allen's! My mom and I both have Celiacs and this is one of the few places we are able to eat at in Round Rock. As long as you tell your server that it's an allergy they are very careful. Never had an issue. The fish tacos are amazing!

Had probably the worst reactions I have ever had from cross contamination from here. I would never go there again.

I had the brunch buffet, and was a bit sad not to see any GF baked goods (I love a scone or pancakes) but I feel I had many options (two types of sausage, grits, potato salad, veggies, etc) I'm not sure I would go for brunch because of my love of GF baked goods, but it's nice to know they're knowledgeable and everything was labeled.
Not a giant selection but tasty food.
Great food, super fresh. Waitress was wonderful, advised me of what wasn't celiac friendly.
Unfortunately I ended up very sick after eating here. I am a Celiac so it may be a better option for those with mild intolerance. I noticed later they do state they do not practice gluten free precautions in their kitchen on their menu.
One of my favorite new restaurants will many items locally sourced. Great yummy options on their GF menu!
