We ordered online for pickup and we were able to note “gluten allergy.” Enchiladas with corn tortillas were very good.

To start off, the chips are made in a shared fryer 🙄. If you want anything crispy, it will be contaminated. Little options for celiacs, and my family’s soft taco shells fell apart immediately. Also, rice and beans were not great. Got the enchiladas which were mediocre at best, but at least they didn’t get me sick.

Maybe I am naive- I am newly diagnosed with celiac- and I thought a Mexican Restaurant would be an okay choice. My kids were really looking forward to having Mexican food for dinner. It turned out that almost nothing on the menu was gluten free. There are so many good restaurants here in Bar Harbor that I was kicking myself that I agreed to this place for dinner. It’s not worth it and in the end, nobody in my family said the food was very good anyway.
