Horrible experience. Waitress said the chips were gf and safe from cross contamination. After I ate the chips, she came back to tell me she double checked and they in fact were not safe. Of course we left immediately. There was no apology and she even charged my friends for their drinks. Worst restaurant experience in years.

I was so confident going here! I left a note on our open table reservation saying we required gluten-free for a severe allergy, and the waiter came out in without me even asking walked through the small handful of items on the menu that contains gluten, as well as talking through their cross-contamination (steer clear of chips due to shared fryer.) There were really only two items on the menu that I could not eat. The quality of food was exceptional, as well as the drinks and ambience. I think we found our new favorite go-to restaurant! sensitive to cross contamination and didn’t feel sick in the slightest.

First negative review I’ve left. The gluten thing is not the issue. It’s the food. I don’t mind paying $20 for 3 enchiladas (no sides come with that either) as long as it taste good. This was the most bland Mexican food I’ve ever had. Even the chips and salsa, the salsa was like Tomato sauce. Nice area nicely decorated but hella expensive for food that taste like it came out the freezer.

Amazing! So good we're headed there a second day in a row. 95% of food is gluten free. Fantastic and unique dishes. Amazing customer service to boot. The chef even came out to talk to us. He has a great story. A must visit when in Dallas!

Dedicated fryer (safe chips!!) and staff was knowledgeable. Be careful bc the corn tortillas are heated in the same space as the flour. The chef heated the corn up for me in a clean pan instead

The food is fantastic here! I can’t wait to come back. I have celiac disease and the waiter was so helpful in letting me know what was Gf and what wasn’t. Most of the menu is Gf or can be adjusted. The ceviche is the best I’ve ever had here. Highly recommend this place... not sure why there isn’t a line to get in every night.

So nice to find a Mexican restaurant that I can eat the chips and salsa without worry! The staff is very knowledgeable about what is gluten free on the menu and will take care of you like you are family. Oh and the food is just as good as the service!!

My daughter and I wandered in here hoping that because it was a chef driven Mexican restaurant they would accommodate us. A waitress came over and described the authenticity of the menu and then said “please tell me about any allergies”. We didn’t even have to ask! We said Gluten & she said all but maybe 2-3 dishes are not Gluten free. Then a waiter came and took our order he reiterated to us that the kitchen was safe.Even the tortilla chips. After brunch he asked us if we wanted dessert- we were full but he named of the dessert list, at least 3 were GF. FYI - this is not Tex- Mex, it is cuisine from the Jalisco area of Mexico. Wonderful food. We will be back!
