bagels are freaking amazing but the service was a bit snarky. they don't have coffee or tea and the gal at the register seemed confused that we asked. also head right next door for some vegan cashew fake cream cheese that really makes the bagel come to life.

Visited back in July 2016. I was so disappointed that they were out of bagels when we got there, but we took away a taste of everything left in the case -- ALL gluten-free and vegan, all safe for me and my multiple food issues. Everything was good. I highly recommend the little quinoa loaves, as I miss bread a lot. Slathered with some vegan butter? Mmmmm.

This place is a sanctuary. The owner and chef, Jennifer has really got this gluten free fiasco figured it out. I know it is 100% safe for celiacs and those of us who also suffer from an intolerance to dairy. The breads and pastries are decedent and to and to die for. Always fresh and made with the best gf ingredients one could need to repair the gut and heart of a troubled celiac.

Absolutely incredible. I walked in and it smelled like a French bakery and everything we ate tasted like the glutaneous versions I remember. Spot-on. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Really really liked this bakery. I got a bagel, muffins, and cookies and loved everything. This bakery is also good for people who have nut issues. I'm definitely going to come again when I'm in New York. 😋

The carrot cake cupcakes are amazing. I brought home a poppyseed and a sea salt bagel, very good. Can't wait to try the everything bagel next time I'm in the city 😄

The bakery is also dairy free. If you have dairy issues, it's a great option. The texture of the bagel was off, more of a bagel shaped dinner roll. I did enjoy the fingerprint cookie. I spit the cupcake into a napkin. Currently I am looking at a muffin which may go in the trash un-sampled. If you don't have issues with dairy, Tu-Lu's Bakery is a block away and tastes much better in my opinion.

Amazing bagels! So happy to get a bagel in New York that I can eat. I took one star off because the bakery is very pricy and has odd hours.

Not cheap. And when I say that, I mean it is absolutely worth the money. We got a birthday cake for my brother, who has celiac like me. When I served it to guests, they asked what I got for my brother. They couldn't tell the difference. The mail order goods are just as good as those from the bakery.

Daughter is 10 years old and loved the new bagels. Stays soft no matter how long it takes you to eat. She was so excited that she can fold it in half. Cookies were great as well.

I had a bagel and the carrot cake cupcake. Both amazing! Moist, great flavor, just a little pricey. The bagel came with dairy free spread that was just as good. I just wish I had gone earlier to have been able to take some bagels home (they ran out).

I am glad that there is another gluten-free option on the Lower East Side, but I have to say this was kind of disappointing. The hours that they're open make it kind of difficult -- Really, you open at 10:30 in the morning on the weekends? How is somebody supposed to have breakfast? -- and it was extremely expensive. Four dollars each for Mini muffins. Additionally, and I guess this is a quibble, it had to be at least 110° inside the restaurant, so we couldn't eat inside. For the price, the baked goods were just okay.

This is a the healthiest gluten free bakery in all of New York, and possibly the world. The owners and staff are all knowledgeable and pleasant. The Cupcakes aren't overly sweet, the cookies are just right, bread loaves and bagels are delightful. You do not feel bad in this bakery... Because unlike most gluten free goodies, these have high quality ingredients that have actual nutritional value... For a person with Celiac disease, you feel like you've gone to a flavorful healthy safe land!
